Love this knife. As a senior, it's great that it is not too heavy so easy to handle. The short blade is perfect for my needs. Very sharp compared to my current knives. I bought two by mistake while it was on sale & decided to keep both. I notice the price is back to normal now. Anyway, you can always use a back-up!

I have now owned this night for eight months and it is still incredibly sharp. I am someone that hones my knife quite frequently so perhaps that is helping. The feel, weight, balance are all very good for a knife at this price point.

Got this as a gift from my son. I'm not a professional chef, but love cooking at home for my family. As such, I've never owned a knife this expensive, so I was super excited. Out of the box, the knife is absolutely beautiful from the Damascus pattern on the blade to the very end of the handle. The first thing I tried the knife on was a potato. Quite frankly, it was like sliding a hot knife through butter. The knife handle fits very comfortably in my hand unlike most of my other kitchen knives. The handle's shape and location on the knife are such that my knuckles don't hit the cutting board while using the knife. As of right now I am excitedly giving this knife 5 stars - would purchase again. Will definitely update down the road if needed, but so far, this is a must-buy for me. UPDATE Just a quick update. The knife is still awesome! I did have to hone it a bit, as it's my go-to when I'm in the kitchen and even the best blade will start to dull with use. It takes very little effort to put that edge back on and lasts for quite a while. I am STILL in love with this knife and would give an extra star if I could.

I love it I use it for over 2 years now almost every day, it came extremely, extremely sharp and stayed that way.. It had maybe worn off a little.. still very usable after all that time.. Impressive.. I now sharpened it wit a machine a week ago and it's like new.. This thing for me is really worth it... If the Damast is really real or not.. I can't really tell I'm not a expert it looks real, and it's a very hard steal that's why it says sharp for so long. I bought one for my mother a year and a half ago.. Same story there still extremely sharp.

I’ve been using mine for a couple of weeks now and it’s a joy to use. The round handle is very comfortable and it’s very sharp. Makes my prep work easier. Just don’t get your fingers in the way. Update. Downgrade to 4 stars. Yes it’s very sharp but the edge is very weak. I tried to cut a thawed turkey neck in half and the edge rolled badly. Before doing that I noticed a nick in the edge and I hadn’t cut anything hard. Always hand washed it, carefully.

Big fan of these knives so far. I have slowly been gifting them to a family member who is focused on upgrading their kitchen knife game, and they have been loving these.

my husband absolutely loves this knife, and it has stayed Sharp over the past year.
