I was super hesitant to program the remote and stared at it for days hoping someone else in the family would end up doing it for me, but alas after 4 days of not having a remote I decided to give it a try. It did take a few times to get the steps correct but even then it wasn't more than a 5-10 min thing to do. It may have been easier if I had someone reading me the steps, but honestly, it's not hard - give it a try to program yourself instead of paying for someone to do it.

This key fob works great - exactly the same as the one that came with the car. You are directed to a website and have to follow a detailed set of instructions to get it programmed, but I'm happy that I was able to save so much money by not going through the dealer. If the first set of instructions doesn't work, try the second; in my case, the first set of instructions wasn't too clear, since you didn't know how long to push the various buttons for. My minivan only has one motorized door, on the rear passenger side, so this one was all I needed for my situation. Very happy with this purchase!

I PURCHASED THIS TO REPLACE A DEAD FOB FOR MY 2006 TOYOTA SIENNA. AFTER 3 SEQUENCED ATTEMPTS, IT FINALLY WORKED AND HAS CONTINUED TO WORK WITHOUT A PROBLEM.THE ERRORS WERE ON MY PART AND THE KEY FOB IS PERFECT SO FAR. (2 WEEKS)I AM VERY HAPPY BECAUSE PURCHASING THIS IS A LOT CHEAPER THAN THE DEALERSHIP. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING TO REPLACE THEIR OLD ONE.

I have a 2008 Toyota Sienna with one automated sliding door.This remote works well for simply opening and closing the drivers side car door and the sliding door.However, opening all the doors of the cars normally requires a quick double press. On this remote I need to press them way quicker then I needed to on my original Toyota remote.As a result most of the time I fail to unlock all the doors of the car with a double press and have to take a second pass at it.I do recommend the product it is great value for the money and it works for most practical uses.
