Very much enjoy my knife, I use it everyday at work and it's very durable and very sharp comfortable to use for a long time and a very pretty knife, the handle feels expensive and it dosent feel cheap heavy and great feeling. If you take care of it and sharpen it correctly you will succeed!

This knife is made of high quality steel. Has the perfect weight and fits nicely in my hand. It’s easy to use and functions exactly as you would expect this thing is super sharp.

I love Dalstrong knives more than anything in my house, so let me just cut to the chase, buy it. If there was a house fire, and I could only grab one item, I’m grabbing my knife. I am constantly in the kitchen, and their nakiri knives are my absolute favorite. I use it exclusively for 99.9% of my cooking needs. My husband bought me one of their 7” nakiri knives (Gladiator series) about 5 or so years ago as a present, and it is still in immaculate condition even with heavy everyday usage. We moved recently, and he bought me this Valhalla version of the 7” nakiri. I was practically jumping up and down. These knives will last you a lifetime if you take care of them, and their customer service is top-notch. The weight is absolutely perfect. Theyre full tang. Very sharp, and lovely to hold when you have to prep tons of stuff in the kitchen. Plus, they’re just beautiful to look at. Look no further. Dalstrong is THE best. Yes, they’re pricey, but once you use a Dalstrong knife, you will never go back.

UPDATE: I have been using this knife constantly since I purchased it, to the point where I now feel sorry for the other ones in my collection, this knife is just that awesome!! I have since purchased the paring knife and now the santoku knife, all from this Valhalla collection, reviews on those coming soon. I just can not get enough of this knife!! Buy it, you will NOT be sorry. Oh, and I also purchased their Ulu knife as well. The Nakiri is my favorite kitchen knife and I have 4 of them, and I have been looking at this beauty for some time, but it is expensive, so finally I was lucky enough to be able to purchase it and patiently waited the 2 days to receive it. I kept checking to see how many stops away it was, but sadly it arrived pretty late and I was really tired, but opening this knife woke me right up!! The beauty of this knife is undeniable, the first thing I did was grab a piece of paper and it glided through it like butter, I just can't stop staring at this gorgeous knife!!! I always plan meals in advance, but tonight I changed my meal plan so I can cut tons of veggies with my new knife, and the sheath it comes with is just gorgeous too!! This is a knife I really want to display so I can just stare at it, I have a beautiful edge grain teakwood cutting board which I display on my counter, what better place to display this gorgeous knife than right on that board!!! I am soooo happy with it!

This knife was a gift from my mother for graduating culinary school at the ripe old age of 50. I use the knife professionally and at home. Razor sharp edge perfect for cutting everything thin and sexy.

I've been a fan of Dalstrong knife for a long time now so when my wife said she wanted a Nakiri knife, I did not hesitate and got her that one. that knife will last her a very long time. Super sharp, looks amazing, easy to handle. what else can you ask for? don't hesitate!

Overall a good knife. I'm not to impressed that mine came with some damages out of the box... there is a small chip at the front of the blade, and a scuff mark to the left of the logo. For the price you pay for one of these I would expect it to come with no damages.... and because of that I'm giving it two stars, doesn't matter how nice it is or how good it works if you cant even buy one in perfect condition out of the box. I'm not to happy... Update, went through customer service and they were great, had no problems and got a new knife shipped to my door the next day. Great service and a great knife.

I love this knife. This seriers is beautiful. I also have the 7 inche slicer. They go on the knife block to be seen.
