Is there anything preventing the tool in use from collapsing/folding back in while using it?

Hey there, the tools are quite firm, but there is no locking mechanism when they are extended (opened) if that's what you are asking. For screwing screws and nuts it's completely fine. Thanks, Mike | Vibrelli

Can the chain breaker put the chain back together?

the chain can be put back together. Don't push the pin all the way out, leave a fair bit so chain can click back together. New pin wtf?

Does it measures torque in clockwise and counter clockwise directions?

Just tested, and YES both ways this is awesome, you can measure NMs under 1 NM (0.1 to 0.9) and you can set measurements 1 by 1 up to 20 vs 2 by 2
