When the packets feels very hard and crunchy, they are used up. Fresh oxygen absorbers should feel sandy or powdery. Thank you.

how should i use them? Do I need to tear them and use powder in it? it is sealed how can it absorb Oxygen?

Don't tear them open they will work. Use one pre container- bags, jars or others types of sealed containers . You must keep these oxygen absorbers sealed in an air tit bag or jar as well, or they will lose their ability to work. So as soon as you have taken out as many as you need - seal them back up ASAP . In general, 300-400 cc is recommended for 1 gallon container. It's always better to add more than the general recommendation. You can place 3 packets for a 1 gallon vacuum sealed bag. Thank you.
