Chin Straps have a tenancy to slip off, but when placed properly, they work extremely well. I tried cutting the head band, giving more separation, but it didn't help for me. I did cut the adjustment strap(s) to make them fit more comfortably. I've been using it for over a month and it works, keeping my mouth from drying out. It has only slipped off once in the time that I've been using it when I was sleeping on my side.

I was hoping to find something minimal that wouldn't bother me while I slept. Unfortunately these didn't work for me because they kept slipping off at night. But I did appreciate that they are adjustable to accommodate various head sizes.

About a year ago i was switched from a CPAP to a BiPAP machine with much higher pressure and my old chin straps couldn’t keep my mouth closed so i changed to a wider strap but it was very uncomfortable and made my head sweat. I decided to give these a try and i am extremely happy with the product. They are thin but strong and very comfortable. They keep my mouth shut and stay in place. I just got these this past Sunday and have already ordered another pair of them to have on hand. If you have struggled to find a comfortable lightweight chin strap i highly recommend this one.

Don't waste your time with these as they do not work AT ALL. They do not stay in place and cannot be made tight enough to have any effect in elevating one's lower jaw in order to keep the mouth closed. Be great if someone made a chin strap out of a cotton/lycra blend like that often found in head/hair bands. They'd likely be comfortable, breathable, have good stretch and be machine washable.

Arrived quickly...that's the high point. Now for the rest. Chin cup is very soft on your skin but too small and shallow to keep its place. Side straps are soft as well but to soft and stretchy, adjust it to fit and it stretches loose very quickly. Also cutting the head strap to aid in holding it in place results in an offset head gear. Not a great buy when it doesn't perform as advertised. Update*** While these straps didn't perform well for me,(Male 6'2"" 230 lbs) they may perform for others. What I would want to point out is that the manufacturer contacted me and made it right. THAT IS RARE! I wouldn't hesitate to try other products from them.

I like it. A very good, simple design with interesting intricacies. I particularly like the velvet chin strap. Comfortable to wear. It took me two nights to find the correct fit. Now I just slip in on and off, without changing the tension settings. Nicely priced. Two units. I keep one by my bedstand and the other by my recliner for daily naps (I am 81 yrs old). Now I awake without the effects of dry mouth.

If you have a large head(didn’t think I did!) this doesn’t fit well. The opening in the strap sits to one side and not at the top of the head where it should be. Poorly designed strap

I was experiencing air leakage with my CPAP due to my mouth occasionally opening during sleep. This solution resolved the issue. While it’s not the most comfortable option, it’s no worse than wearing standard CPAP headgear. Overall, it has proven to be a much better alternative than switching to a full-face CPAP mask.
