Mi 11X 5G (Cosmic Black, 6GB RAM, 128GB Storage) | SD 870 | DisplayMate A+ rated 120Hz E4 AMOLED | 48MP Sony sensor

Specifically bought this device after looking at the developer community , lots of custom ROM's being actively developed for this device !Phone is snappy thanks to SD870 with UFS 3.1 & LPDDR5 Ram (easily future proof for a minimum of 3 years).Best screen in this segment (it doesn't support 90hz tho , only 60/120hz) super smooth crisp colours.Way better than Iqoo and Realme counter parts as they have almost no developer community.Had to use it for one week with Miui 13 as bootload unlock time is one week , miui 13 is decent plenty of features , smooth animations and decent battery life , it gets shipped with some bloatwares that can be removed , plus no ads on the UI (be sure to uncheck while setting up on first boot).Currently using with CrDroid 8.4 and it's heavenly , plus you have the freedom to use custom mods like disable FlagSecure to take as in restricted apps hooking apps to unlock features , limiting battery charge to 80% to increase longevity of battery and lot more via root (Magisk) & Xposed (Lsposed) framework.The real potential of 870 chip is unlocked on custom ROM's.At dynamic 120 hz battery can easily last a day you can even extend it more using 60hz.The camera is decent performer too and with gcam it's even better !Got this device with 5000 exchange bonus on a 4 year old device , so it was a pretty sweet deal for me.Didn't go with 888 or 8Gen1 devices as they are being manufactured with Samsung Node and not TMSC which is inefficient and is causing major heating issues , 870 has no such issues.This will easily last 3 year (at minimum) even if you buy it in 2022.

Okay so first thing first, if you want a phone that can game well, can capture good snaps and an overall package go for iqoo legends other then that if you want to flash custom rom in sd 870 then you can think about this as iqoo have locked bootloader , now that's aside let's move on to reviewalso known as k40/poco f3 mi11x can easily become your daily driver, if you can get this phone in 20-25k bracket during offers, if it costs more then that go for some other phone, this phone have great combination of specs and looks, silver edition.Pros : Great Display, but some of the phones have black crush issue, mine don't have any such and display can be set to 60hz/120hz by default it is set to 60hz possibly to conserve battery.Processor : SD 870 is better then SD 888 imo as it doesn't heats up like kiln like 888 does, SD 870 is power hungry chip so it does makes the phone warm while you are playing heavy games like Genshin Impact, still the performance does not drop, Dimensity is also great but SD 870 have good ROM support from the devs, and cherry on top you can unlock the bootloader after the phone warranty ends and you can kick out miui and get the pixel experience asap,Battery: Good battery life for a day, 120hz is battery drainer so remember to keep the display to 60hz with battery saver if you want the phone to last 2 days still with 120hz you can last whole dayCharging : 33w charger makes sure you can reach full charge in a hour, and does not kills battery like the 120w charger doesSound: The dolby is implemented well and it does sounds clear.Build Quality : it does feels premium, go for the silver edition as black edition is glossy amd finger print magnetNow for the consProximity Sensor : Xiomi uses Virtual proximity Sensor which is another way of saying it doesn't of proximity sensor and it uses accelometre to mimic proximity sensor and that causes problems , it is not deal breaking but still cannot deny physical proximity sensor would have been betterCameras: Don't even want to talk about this, Poco f1 had better cameras then this. it is good camera but yeah if you want phone with good cameras go for some other phone.These are the things which you should knoe beforehand making a decision to go with this phone or not

I ordered this phone on 26th. May 2021 PM and received it by 29th. May 2021 AM. Kuddos for timely delivery to Amazon especially considering the pandemic we are into.Now the best part, I got this device at INR 24500. How ? I applied a coupon discount (I don't remember from where did I get that coupon) of INR 1999 + HDFC Credit Card Offer of INR 3500. This was a Steal Deal for me.Now let's come to the 'actual' review.Design - 9.5/10 - The Cosmic Black colour is classy and sassy. Deducted 0.5 mark because the back side is a fingerprint magnet and there's a slight camera bump although both the issues can be solved easily by putting on a good back cover.Screen - 9/10 - 120 Hz Refresh Rate + 360 Hz Touch sampling rate + HDR 10+ Display with 1300 Nits of peak brightness is an absolute blessing. Deducted 1 mark because the screen resolution is full HD Plus and not Quad HD.Performance - 10/10 - Snapdragon 870 with Adreno 650 in a sub 30k phone. This deserves a 10/10.Durability - 8.5/10 - Gorilla Glass 5 on front and back is definitely a plus. What breaks my heart is that it's IP 53 certified and not an IP 68 certified Device although IP 53 is justified for its price tag but I'm a bit greedy 😛Battery - 9/10 - 4520 mAh with 33 Watt fast charging. In actual test it charged from 1% to 100% in 56 minutes which is at par with the claim. Deducted 1 mark because it gets slightly heated during charging and gaming. I understand that it happens with all the device but it's little more compared to my OnePlus 8 Pro. Honourable mention to the ultra battery saver mode, I don't what crazy stuff is that but in emergency that shit will last you a whole day with just 15% battery.Camera - 8/10 - At par with most of the competition in its range. I particularly liked it's Dual mode where you can use both front and back camera at once and also it's colour accuracy is good but you may sometimes find blown out highlights when the background is shiny even with HDR on. Also video Stabilization is very average.Sound - 9/10 - Clear sound and loud enough.Final verdict - It's one the best bet in it's price segment and if you can have it below 28K then go for it blindly. Even otherwise it's a great deal 🔥🔥
