This is a fantastic product and saved me so, so much money on not needing to get a new fish tank. My son has to sleep with a light on, and really loved (and preferred) his fish tank light. But when it went out, we had to improvise and it was never the same. I decided to search for this product, not knowing if it existed, and found this one. It sticks to the glass perfect. When added to the top, the plastic, it did keep falling off. It is incredibly easy to use and the lights work great. So very bright and easily adjustable between colors and even a mode where it switches between colors. It is a perfect fit for a small tank and not too wide. Overall this is a quality product that I would absolutely recommend.

I have an older aquarium hood (20 gallon tank) and the fluorescent bulb connectors stopped working. I removed the lighting fixture and was able to put this light in its place. It works perfectly.

It really brightens up the tank and gives it a lively, vibrant look. I love being able to change the colors, but the remote only works when it’s really close to the plug—which is a bit inconvenient since mine is tucked away in a cabinet. I have to open the door each time to use it. Still, a nice upgrade for the price!

Works nice! Took it out of the box, stuck it to the roof of my fish tank and plugged it in :) Has a nice little remote with lots of nice, calm colors- not SUPER bright.. just perfect for my 5 gallon tank.

I've had this product 2 years. From the start the remote didn't function great because you have to have a close proximity. I would even have to flip over the sensor at times just to get it to catch on. Sometimes it wouldn't change to the correct color etc... It's not great for plants. It's now shorting out it seems like because it is switching between colors and brightness. But on the plus side it does have lots of colors and lasted almost 2 years which seems to be good for products lately.

The only positive for me was that the suction cups were very strong under my hood. The remote did not work at all for me. There was no white light in the mix. It was advertised to have a white light among the options, however, the white light mode turns out to be a blue color and not bright. The only way to change the colors without the remote is the button on the electric line. That on/off button was placed almost to the plug and far from the aquarium itself. I found that to be very inconvenient. The fact that it did not have an actual white light was not acceptable to me as I like my tanks to be bright and more natural in color. I had to return this light, which was very disappointing. I really need a bright replacement for a hood light. We live in a very wasteful disposable society, and it is ridiculous that there are no replacement bulbs for anything. You should not have to buy an entire aquarium kit, or a new plastic lighted hood that might fit your tank, when your light burns out. The cheap LED lights that come in the new hoods don't even begin to stand up to the old school aquarium lights we used to have. So Sad

Its garbage stop working after 12h and the Light output is very weak. The white is more bleu find something else
