Highly satisfied and recommended
I’m not associated with the company in any way, shape or form and this unit has been outstanding. And I’ve had these for about a year now. The sensor sits at the top of the driveway approx. 50 - 75 yards from the house and shop - where I have the 2 receivers. The sensor is about 2-3 ft above driveway surface, is slightly angled down and at about a 20º angle to the driveway direction. There are 2 walls between the sensor and each receiver. Our home is in the PNW where, if you haven’t heard, we get some rain. And sun. And where we live, some snow and high winds. Installation and set-up took about 15 minutes and then another 5-10 minutes to fine tune. Except for changing the batteries in the sensor 1x, I haven’t had to touch the system again. Works like a charm. Nice to be able to choose your own alarm and adjust volume, which is loud enough to hear anywhere in the house (even outside in yard). We seldom get a false alarm due to the wind. Both dogs and deer will trip alarm. Couldn’t be happier.

Works great!
REALLY helpful to have this activate when you're in the back room and don't know if someone has entered the driveway... (or entered the backyard from a fence and crossed the beam toward the house, etc). Even better, you can hook up multiple SENSORS and program them with different noises. I even got ANOTHER receiver (not the sensor) for the front of the house so I could hear it better from the kitchen. AA batteries haven't been changed for nearly a year. Best to set up when you can hear the receiver as you cross the beam...making sure the sensor unit is adjusted properly. You'll get false alarms if you mount it on a small tree that sways in the wind unless you mount it lower where the trunk doesn't move. Also false alarms if you adjust it so the beam is angled too low (meaning a cat or squirrel can pass through the IR beam and trigger it.) Mine is outdoors in Fresno, CA--meaning temps from maybe 30F - 110F and occasional rain. So far, no issues!

Warning: This company has changed. And they are hiding issues.
Edit: I just spoke to someone at Guardline and verified that their support is no longer “Awesome USA tech support” - but has been moved to the Philippines. This is hilarious when you look at their LinkedIn profile and see their patriotic message about how you’ll NEVER get overseas disconnected support that doesn’t understand your problem. Well, that’s exactly what they’ve become. Avoid this company. They are no longer what they say they are. —— I originally bought my guardline 500’ setup in late 2019, and added an extra receiver in 2020. All was working well until I decided to add a third receiver for my garage in the last few months. Guardline advertises their systems as being expandable - all you need to know is that the 1/4 mile works with the 1/4 mile, and the 500’ works with the 500’. As long as you stay within the models, you can add unlimited receivers and 16 sensors. They also advertise that when you call them you will get a “real person” at the company and that there’s “no problem (they) can’t solve.” This is NOT TRUE. Apparently sensors and receivers manufacturers before November 2021 are not compatible with sensors and receivers manufactured after. This is not documented ANYWHERE, and everything still reads as the units will be compatible. If you have an older setup and want to expand it with seemingly the same model available today, it will NOT PAIR. When you call them now, you only get an overseas answering service which relays questions back to the “internal team”. You do not get someone at the company. Their cutesy videos may have held some truth before, but seems like a “smart MBA” got ahold of things and now they give lousy impersonal service just like every other company I don’t expect much from someone selling one time hardware at these prices, but I do expect not to be misled. Very unhappy, especially since they advertise themselves so strongly as a US company that helps their customers. Maybe it was true once. It isn’t now. Avoid, and go with another brand. Too many games being played here.

Great range, awful sound options
I am very happy with Guard line products. I bought two receivers and 4 transmitters to cover various area of my property. I have one at the end of the driveway which is about 300 feet from the house and both recovers pick it up with no problem so the performance is great. The sound options though are horrible. I wanted to have a slightly different sound for each receiver so I could tell them apart by sound. I was hoping for some simple chimes or beeps for each one or even better, numbers or other customized options like you hear on a Home Alarm system. Instead, there is a horrible selection of old school doorbell chime songs like Big Ben and other old classical pieces that go on for way too long and would drive my wife insane if she had to listen to them. I gave her the option to pick and she couldn't stand them either so it isn't just me at least. There are really maybe three useful ones total which is unfortunate because I have 4 transmitters. This means I am trapped with at least one of them tormenting my wife. I have chosen a much lower traffic spot for that one. :) I have had several other models like this and this is the best for range and performance for sure , it is just a shame that for equipment that is really well made and operates great, that there aren't more sound options.

Works great!
This is the inside notification/beep for our driveway alert. Put one in the laundry room in the basement, another in the garage, and one at the bedroom end of the hallway. Have multiple chimes you can choose from. Have a longer driveway so helps us know when someone has pulled in. The driveway alert part is separate outside and we are thankful for this system.

Wireless driveway alarm
We have a very long driveway. We couldn’t tell when people drove up. We added this Driveway alarm and it works great. If I am out back in the other garage, the alarm will let me know that someone is there. So happy to have this device.

Wondering how I lived without this before! So nice to hear people arriving when I am not watching for them. I use it at my tire shop and can have the door opening as soon as they enter the driveway. Great quality.
