The rowing hatchet blade measures ~2.5" long from bottom of blade to end of shaft, by 1" wide, and the nickel plated split ring is ~1.25" diameter: big enough for lots of boathouse keys! It has a high polished finish. The raw brass will take on a nice patina over time unless coated with a clear lacquer. We have been rowing since 1965, making jewelry since 1975, and making rowing jewelry since 1987. We love rowing & making creative rowing jewelry- hope you love it!
