What's the difference between the breeze and the 360 cool air mesh?

The Omni Breeze is our most breathable carrier that does it all. Im plus sized, size 24, will this work for me and my boyfriend who is a 4X?

My husband isn't as big as yours but he typically wears an XL and he can wear it with plenty of length on the straps. I'm sure you can look at the ergobaby sizing or contact customer service.

Do you think this carrier will get hot in the summer months for the parent or baby? I am trying to decide between this and the Breeze.

It does get warm between you and baby. Not sure the breeze would help much though.

Do you really need to change the velcro based on the height of baby?

Omni carriers are newborn-ready and can also be used as toddler carriers. The waistband needs to be adjusted based on baby's size. Adjust the seat using the velcro tabs on the waistbelt based on your baby's height: along the red lines for a baby between 20-24 inches / 50.8-61 cm (~0-3 months), along the yellow lines for a baby between 24-28 inches / 61-71 cm (~3-9 months), along the blue lines for a baby over 28 inches / 71 cm (~9 months +).
