The replacement key case was very easy to swap. This is also the Desmond time buying this item. The only issue I had with this one is the gold Toyota logo was not staying on the back. So I had to get glue to fix it on . That would be the glue visible around the logo.

This worked perfectly! The only tricky part is extracting the metal key from the old housing. Take your time and file/cut away the plastic surround until you hit the metal. Once one side of the plastic is removed the rest will come off easily. The metal is a sort of "T" shape. Reference the new plastic housing, where the old metal key will go, to see what shape it is. Would definitely buy this again.

Fit perfect and easy to assemble

I was satisfied with the quality for the price. I had to carefully grind down the original key a fraction on the end that fits into the case. I also had to grind down the side of the key on the same end just a fraction. Despite having to make such adjustments it was worth it for the huge cost savings.
