The measurement you quoted is about the packaging and not the actual product. The organizer is 13" wide and 16" long when not expanded, and expands up to 23.75" in width. Hope this answers your question

I understand that the width is expandable but what is the depth ? I would use in camper trailer and the drawers are smaller than regular kitchen.
