Works great for our garden as a second screen for the HOT sun! The plants get burned up so quickly.. Last year we ordered our first one, so we ordered the 2nd one to place as another screen, so glad we did!

With the intense (radiation?) heat this year I found the green beans even did better under it so I ordered a second cover for the container garden. 3 days ago we had some PEA sized HAIL - which we happily watched bounce off! (Pic) During the hottest part in June it was easy to toss some burlap over cauliflower. A few landscape fabric staples secured it fully down or just 1 on each corner when center is up for easy watering. The other side Zip Ties secured pipe insulation over the chain link fence then zip tied the cover over that! I'm happy I went bigger with it on the other 2. Seems durable yet light & easy to work with. Had then 2-3 months now. Believe this was a good investment. Used a few lengths of IPEX water tubbing to form hoops. PVC great for frame work! If anything changes I'll update.

Bought this 50% shade cloth to cover my opened roof raised bed garden housing. The Texas heat is brutal on my greens causing my cabbage, lettuce, Bok Choi, etc to bolt and taste bitter and the soil to dry out really fast. This shade cloth has done well protecting my greens and creating a shade so that the soil stays moist, causing my garden to grow more lush and abundantly. Highly recommended for high heat areas.

Have used this same black shade over my greehouse for 4 years in a row. It is a great product to protect plants from too much sun. I think the build of this material is overall very good. If respected, folded correctly, and tied down right... this black shade will last a long time. I am happy and would recommend this to others.

Great easy solution to reduce direct sun in sections of my garden.

We attached this to the roof on the outside of our greenhouse because it gets way too hot inside. Now, there’s still plenty of light, it’s cooler, and my plants are much happier. The grommets on it made it easy to tie so it stays in place on the outside of the greenhouse.

I bought it to cut the sun to me greenhouse. Excellent results, lowered the temp by 20 degrees Fahrenheit on the hottest day
