LG TV Replacement remote – Works with ALL LG TVs – Learning feature -URC4911

We recently bought an LG OLED55C14LB TV which is a nice slim set with a fantastic picture, but we were very disappointed with the remote controller that accompanied the set: banana shaped, fiddley, and awkward to use, especially the 'OK' button. So, after a bit of searching, we ordered an All-In-One, URC4911: what a difference. It has ideal proportions, the buttons have a good feel and work reliably, and the controller is well made. It is now a pleasure to use the TV, and there was no setting-up either! It was £20 well spent. Highly recommended. PS: Under 'Product details' the dimensions of the URC4911 are stated as, 19.5 x 4.4 x 2.5 cm, but the actual URC4911 is, 19.5 x 4.4 x 2.0 cm. Also, in one place, the batteries required are stated as, '2 x AA', when, in fact, the URC4911 uses, '2 x AAA' batteries. 2025-03-02 update: The buttons on this range of remote controllers tend to jam on, causing the red light to remain on and the controller to be nonfunctional. We have had 3 controllers with this problem. The solution is to locate the jammed button and wriggle it until it releases. Then spray all buttons with a plastic lubricant. GT85 is a good choice. Then spray the keys once a year.

I got this LG specific remote to replace the nonOEM remote I got to replace the original remote. It's as good as the original OEM that came with the TV. It works straight out of the box with no learning curve. All the buttons are in the expected location and work properly. These are a couple of Netflix type short cut buttons which don't work with my TV since it's too old of a model. They are somewhat programmable but I never went that far. This is a really good remote and preferable to an aftermarket LG "original" remote which doesn't have the quality of one actually shipped by the manufacturer with the TV. Recommended

Does what it says on the box. I’ve had it for over a year now after losing the magic remote and still going strong. Much easier to use compared to the original remote. Price is reasonable

Wow, it's brilliant!, all I did was put the 2 X AAA batteries in & off it went, as an older lady whose not technically minded I thought that was brilliant, I have an LG TV. So recommend it 100 percent.. don't hesitate go for it. Good size & readable buttons & easy to hold for in my arthritic hands.

After the scroll wheel broke on the original LG remote, a replacement was needed! This worked straight out of the box, no prior configuration required, and has happily continued to work for months! However, with most remotes, the battery compartment cover tab has snapped, and while it does loosely stay shut, it does not take much to make it fall off. I would happily buy another in the future!
