MAXCURY Blank Sheet Music Composition Manuscript Staff Paper Art Music Notebook Black 100 Pages 26x19cm (Black)

I have recently returned to playing a guitar after a hiatus of about 30 years. I am gravitating towards jazz, especially gypsy jazz, and I needed some manuscript paper to copy down tunes I want to learn to play. I purchased this product and several others in my quest to find the right paper for me. I originally thought I needed a notebook that was paper sized. I have discovered that that is not so necessary. Its key feature is that the notebook is wire bound, which makes it very easy to use. I recently purchased a second notebook because I have decided that this is the best product for me. What makes it so useful is that the paper is the perfect size for me to copy notes and tabs. I was looking for paper that already had both of these, but what I found made the staff too small. This paper is the perfect size. All I need to do is add another line at the bottom of every other staff, and I have a line for notes and a line for the guitar tab. I have already carried it around with me, and it has held up to my usage and need for a product that is portable. When I need another music notebook, this is the one that I will order.

I used these notebooks for all four levels of music theory at school. A great buy and a must have for music students or composers. The staffs are well spaced and the paper is an eye-pleasing yellow. It lasted a while being shoved in my backpack without getting too roughed up.

Very nice I just wish the lines were bolder

Nice looking music book! Bought as a gift for my daughter's piano teacher. I thought they pages seemed a little flimsy but still nice. The cover has a nice shine to it as you can see the reflection of the water bottle in the picture.

This manuscript book looks just like the picture and is definitely worth the price.The pages are nice and sturdy, making it easy to write in. The staff linings are correct and well-printed.I would definitely recommend buying this for anyone needing a reliable sheet music composition book!

I used a sheet music notebook back in the 90s and every time I used a pencil and erase it, the line disappeared… It was frustrating as I had to keep redrawing the line. As you can see in my pics, I draw/write heavily. Mechanical pencil, 0.5 lead. Despite the mistakes, the lines stay for 99% of the time!! The other 1% is when I erase the heavy markings more than twice. I’m terrible at quarter rests(writing them, anyway) and making the marks for the major/minor (the “hashtag/number” sign at the beginning). If you have better marking rather than erasing than me, this is awesome!! I used the cheap 20 ct mechanical pencils from Walmart and the paper holds up!! HIGHLY recommend for beginning musicians at the very least! I’m rebuilding my love for music and I’m SO happy for the quality in this notebook.
