Me experience with the mic is quite good. I haven't personally heard from the other side so I can't say it's super high quality, but the noise isolation is good. I work in my laundry room currently (remodeling) and have asked people if they're hearing background noise while sitting 3 feet to the side of a running dryer and they say they hear no background noise.

The Anker Soundcore Life Q30 Wireless and the  Wyze Noise-Cancelling Headphones Wireless have different strengths, and depending on your usage, you may prefer one over the other. The Anker come with a hard case and their adjustable ANC feature can cut down a superior amount of ambient noise around you.  However, the Wyze have a srong noise cancellation and  auto-off timer to help conserve battery life and their default sound profile is more neutral,  espeacailly, Wyze have Alexa bulit in, Q30 , Q35 are not. I uploaded a video, and I recommend wyze's headphones in terms of cost performance.

Yes, they can plug into a 3.5mm standard jack with the supplied cord.  However, you also asked about "to be used on a plane": sometimes on some older planes, the jack has two holes, one for the right and left ear (I think) for older types of headphones/earphones.  So it won't fit in those (well it would, but only in one of the two holes thus giving you sound only to one ear).  But the standard 3.5mm jack it'll fit into (one hole).
