Perfect size toy, good quality and fun

Keeps my kid occupied for a good hour. She caught on real quick on how to work the rods to catch the fish. She was 18 months when I ordered this and she still plays with it on a regular basis a year later. This has also helped her with counting and colors because she will count the fish she catches and name the colors. Great educational game in my opinion.

Well made, fun little “fishing” toy. Can learn colors, counting, sequences, magnets, etc. 19 mo. old granddaughter plays with it repeatedly.

I got this as a Xmas present for my 17 month old who developmentally is more like a 24 month old. At first I was super disappointed and thought this was a flop so I gave it to him early. I was expecting it to be bigger, and for some reason pictured it as a color matching game. I thought the magnet would also be in the wooden cat. I was wrong! As a soon as he saw it he let out a huge “aweeee wooooow” . Cast aside the fishing poles, and dutifully started reading the numbers off the fish and dropping them into the little wooden cat. Then when we got home he had fun driving the fish around in his trucks. He might not be using it as it’s meant to be but he loves it, it’s keeping him busy , and it’s insanely cute. He likes talking about the fish colors and the big kitty belly. Warning that the pieces are choke-able so don’t let kids run around or walk with them in their mouths and supervise younger kids while playing.

This is such a cute toy. It is perfect for your child to practice fine motor skills and colors. It’s the perfect size and is even convenient to take along with you. The magnet is strong and easily picks up the fish. It’s perfect for a gift! Great quality.

It was initially smaller than I thought it would be, but once my son started playing with it I realized it was really the perfect size. He’s 2 years old and 36.61 inches tall for size reference. I didn’t check the dimensions before buying which I why I was surprised. Very well made and the fish pieces are colorful. The cat itself seems very solid. My son loves playing with it.

Bought this for my 22 month old grandson. Once he got the idea of what he was supposed to do, it kept his attention for quite a while. If the poles (it comes with 2) get lost (as these did!) you can buy replacements on Amazon (search for magnetic fishing pole). You can get 3 for around $4
