Birdcraft Large Window Bird Feeder with Removable Tray and 3 Suction Cups

Very nice unit. I've been an avid backyard birder for years, with lots of feeders and active bird houses around the yard. To "bring the birds closer," I had a feeder that attached to the window, but it was difficult to fill. When I saw this I thought it looked like a much better design, so I decided to give it a try. And so I ordered one ... but unfortunately, it showed up cracked and broken. Amazon was quick to set up a return. The outer shipping box was in perfect shape -- it was the box containing the feeder that had obviously been dropped PRIOR to shipping. In other words, it never should have left the warehouse. So anyway, Amazon issued a refund and sent UPS to pick up the damaged unit, and I ordered another - which arrived just fine. The design is even better than I expected.What I like:- The tray comes out quite easily to allow for filling or dumping or cleaning.- The unit has three suction cups, and you have a choice as to how you want to use them. You can use the hooks, which make it easier to lift the unit off the window, or you can remove the hooks and connect the unit directly to the suction cups for a more sturdy hold.- The tray has a nice set of drainage holes, in case any water gets in there.- The opening is wide and inviting for winged visitors.- The tray has a built-in divider, so different kinds of seed can be used.What I don't like:- Nothing. This is a nicely designed tray that I will buy again and give as gifts.Highly recommended.

Feeder arrived without the advertised suction cups and the front had a crack. Returned for refund.

I've enjoyed watching the birds from my kitchen window. It's pretty expensive for what it is (just acrylic), but it does let you get closer to birds to see them. My girlfriend has a nice digital camera that she can operate from an App, so we set up the camera facing the feeder and got some really neat shots! That way, we didn't spook the birds (cardinals are especially skittish; chickadees don't care). It held up during a Michigan winter without cracking or falling off the window, so we got some enjoyment out of it. It only took the birds a week to find the feeder and come back daily.I filled it with black sunflower seeds on one side and safflower seeds on the other. Cardinals eat both, chickadees like safflower, and finches like both. I'm including some pictures to show some of the birds we saw.Like I said, it's not a great "deal" because it's relatively expensive, but it does work.

This was a gift and they loved it. However the "no gift option" had the receiver wondering who it was from. Is this an Amazon issue?

Love it! The birds found it within a few hours. I am, however, going to try and find some small felt pads to put on the bottom window side of the feeder to protect the window. When the chickadees break open the seeds while on the feeder it vibrates against the window. The felt pads will take care of that. I would buy this window feeder again and will recommend it to friends.

Unfortunately, arrived cracked and missing the suction cups. Had to return it.

I honestly did not believe the reviews that said you could watch the birds from your window as they feed. But you can. It's easy to clean, easy to fill. I wish it were bigger so more birds could visit at a time. So far I've only seen one bird at a time use it. I guess I'll just have to buy more of them and hang them on every window.
