I’ve had the CHI Tourmaline Ceramic 1” flat iron for about three years now, and I honestly still love it just as much as when I first bought it. It heats up quickly, is very easy to use, and the ceramic plates glide smoothly through my hair without pulling or snagging. It consistently leaves my hair looking straight, smooth, and shiny with minimal effort. Over time, it has held up really well with no issues at all—no loss of heat, no damage, and no performance changes. It’s become my go-to straightener because I can rely on it every time I use it. I’ve tried other flat irons over the years, but this one has been the most consistent and easiest to work with. It does exactly what I need without any complications. Overall, this is the best straightener I’ve ever used, and after three years of regular use, I still have no complaints and would definitely recommend it.

Best hair straightener. Works super fast and well

I bought this to replace my 2nd herstyler straightener. I have VERY frizzy hair, which is fairly wavy and curly in spots. So, I straighten my hair both to leave straight, and to re-curl. So, I wanted a straightener that could curl as it straightens like my other one did to minimize the heat I put on it. Pic on the left is after 10 minutes of straightening/curling lightly. Pic on the right is my ridiculously frizzy hair combed out during air drying beforehand. This works great. It glides super smooth through my hair--much better than the her styler, has automatic shutoff--which is huge for me, and has a more rounded body so when I curl it doesn't crimp or leave marks in my hair. I was worried it would feel cheap, but it definitely doesn't. It isn't as "thick and sturdy" as the her styler, but is also not as heavy which is a plus. I like the long plates, dial, etc. I wish it went just a bit hotter, but after a couple of weeks using it, I'm getting used to going slightly slower and having the 410 temp which is probably better for my hair. It curls really nicely. I had to adjust my technique just a bit from my other straightener, but once I figured out how much to twist and how slow to pull, I'm really happy with it. I don't smell that "burn" smell that some people have mentioned. Maybe just a touch, but fairly minimal. Oh, and I really like how it feels in my hand. Its a good shape. Chord is perfect length--not too long, not too short. And, the heat resistent pad to set it on is a bonus, though it doesn't really lay flat.

Nice flat iron. Good size so it is easy to maneuver and works for both short and long hair. Just wish is had an auto shutoff.

My CHI OF 21 years recently stopped working and purchased this one due to its versatility and ease of use. Longevity is key and as mentioned, my last Chi product lasted 21 years. The heat level is adequate even for coarse hair. Definitely worth the value.

I have never used a 1.5 inch flat iron and I love it. It straightens well without tugging and ripping my hair. I miss the curling power of my 1 inch straightener but I like the efficiency and smoothness of this one. CHI has been around forever for a reason. It is a solid, reliable option and gets the job done. I do wish the chord was a little longer. I have natural curly hair. Ringlets in some places and waves in others and I am able to straighten my whole heading about 10 minutes.

Great for shorter hair. Travel sized and stores easily. Great product

CHI cannot be beat . I’ve used CHI and other brands of hair straighteners and CHI is by far the best. It straightens but also tames my frizzies. My daughter got so angry when I replaced her overworked and old CHI with an off brand. I caught heat for that and she warned me that this new one wouldn’t last like her CHI and she was right. I will not buy another straightener as long as CHI is sold.

Anteriormente había tenido una y había durado mucho tiempo, son buenas de esta marca aunque no sé si sea original Calienta bien y plancha bien, se debe hacer despacio y usar termoprotector, puede a llegar a jalar un poco por lo que hay que tener cuidado pero funciona muy bien

Mi primera plancha fue una CHI, mi cabello es extremadamente rizado y la CHI era la única que podía dejármelo lacio sin esponjado.... me duró la plancha más de 10 años, solo tuve que cambiarle una vez el Cable y repegar las cerámicas.... mi marido la descompuso y me vi en la necesidad de buscar una nueva. Esta CHI trae control de calor (la anterior solo tenia on/off) y me sirve mucho si solo le quiero dar una repasada usar el calor bajo (menos maltrato) o si es para que quede más liso con mayor calor. La recomiendo!

The best straightener I’ve ever purchased! I usually skimp and just buy the cheap ones for $30 and always thought it wouldn’t make a difference but I was completely wrong. If you’re on the fence just do it, my hair is so soft, straight and less frizzy. I’m so happy with my purchase. Nice design, heats up in seconds and comes with a nice mat to place on while doing hair but to store away.
