Really warms up sound
Got vocals sounding fuller and warmer. Good quality and low cost valve gear.

Quality tube preamp
Great product that does as described, the tubes add a little grit to the sound but that is how tubes are expected to work and ,at least for me, the color and compression were things I was looking for. It also has plenty of gain to give and can drive any dynamic microphone you want and can provide phantom power for any condenser, as well. It works well as a preamp assuming you want that tube functionality in your preamp chain. The buttons feel great, the knobs feel solid. If you want to boost your signal and also add some personality to it, this can do that and for a good price.
