I am a fan of David Davies Sherlock Holmes novels. This one was full of twists and turns. The plot was engaging but obvious at times. I enjoyed the cat and mouse game that Holmes and Moriarty's daughter.

'Revenge from the Grave' is superbly written with a technique that continues to evolve. As always I was hooked from the first page but what I really like is the steady run of the story avoiding superfluous detail. The plot totally absorbed me; this is the kind of book to read in a comfy chair with a continuous supply of coffee. In that respect it most certainly did not disappoint. Well done, a great read!

Superb book - worthy of Sir Arthur himself
Oh this is a good one - I'm going to avoid any hint of a spoiler here but if you're a fan of Holmes you need to get hold of a copy. The plot had me hooked from the opening sentence, it's written by someone who knows Sherlock inside out and it shows. Not only is this a good story but the tone and feel fits with the originals.

Always a great page turner from DSD one would think it’s Doyle back from the grave writing this and not the Napoleon of Crime …

A thriller
Another Sherlockian thriller from David Stuart Davies. As per normal, he gets the full feel of Victorian London and Dr. Watson's narrative of a cracking good yarn. Highly Recommended.

Revenge Thwarted!!
This very fast-pa ced novel of Sherlock Holmes defending himself against the revenge of Moriarty's daughter. Truly an engaging and difficult novel to put down. Well done, David Davies!
