Do you need an external dac to get the most out of this amplifier

If you are using a DVD/ Blue Ray, or CD player you will not need a dac, I have to use a dac to connect it to the TV as a TV does not have a dac built in.

Does it actually have 2 (two seperate) infinion chips. as each chip will do two channels.

Hi, do you need a dac to use this amp with a cd/dvd player or connect to tv with 8ohm passive speakers, thank you for your help.

This amp will accept one analog connection from your tv or cd/dvd player. You will need a dac if you want to connect multiple sources or you could attach a splitter to the rca connection which would allow 2 sources. Probably better with a dac though for better sound quality as this amp sounds superb.
