Great all-around buds.
PROS:> LightweightBoth the buds and cable are lighter than they look. Great for extended periods, putting less strain on you ears. You forget there's anything even in your ear besides the lovely music.> Snug / Secure FitThis is quite huge. All past ear canal buds I've owned slip out/around my ear due to moisture, wax buildup, and head movement. The stock tips from Echobox fit perfect and do not move around. Thanks to the refined shape of the base of the buds, they are extremely easy to grip. The thin tower shape let's you spin the bud with 2 fingers to get a good, controlled, snug fit without having to ram it in.> Slip-free TipsJust as important as above, these buds just stay where you put them. I have alot of ear wax which makes other buds slippery and fall out every few songs, totally ruining the experience. I can be dripping with sweat on a bike machine and the Echobox stock tips still don't move around. This is a big achievement for those of us with waxy ears!> Quality SoundNot an audiophile but not a noob either. The sound is clear, the bass hits hard, and the music really comes to life. Adjustable filters let you do even more to fine tune.> Tangle-freeYeah yeah sounds like a gimmick but the wires truly are amazingly tangle-free. When I wrap them around my Fiiox3 they don't get all bunched up or knotty at all. It quickly retains a loose, snakey fit as soon as you unwrap them. Pretty damn handy not having to mess with straightening the wire out every single session!> Slick DesignLoving the sleek, simple, clean look of the platinum color and faint red under the clear tips.CONS> No Mic/ControllerThis did bum me out that I couldn't skip tracks or control volume with a switch, but you can adjust and learn not to miss it with time.> Long WireReally a trivial point. Being so long, the extra wire dangles around instead of hanging straght to your ears. Obviously not a big deal, and does come in handy when exercising or other occasions!OVERALL> These cost $200+ at release in 2016, and sell for $90 in mid-2018. The quality has held up, the design is still sleek, and several features make them clearly superior to other mid-top ranged buds. Only drawback is the lack of control switch. Highly recommended for the price point. Enjoy with confidence!

Right bud stopped working after 3.5 months
Would be 5*s for the great sound and superb control of cord thrum, but I blew a tire today. Will see if the manufacturer will take care of the malfunction and update accordingly.

Great fit any way you work it.
So did do some homework before spending $89+ on this purchase. Considered several headphones for the gym/exercise and these won out. I like how compact they are. Sound quality is very nice (not an audio expert - but i know what i like). I have not tried the other filters (reference, bass, treble) - just used the default one it had when i got it. I had these just straight hanging through most of my work out - then switched to over the ear and wrapped wire behind - this headphone setup does come with a cinch from "Y" split. I found the over the ears with wire behind more comfortable and less tug on cord when running. The cinch up behind my head helped to keep the cord mostly stationary compared to other headphones i have had. I like these for several reasons as stated. Also i had my old ipod turned up and it did a plenty good job keeping the gym speakers and outside noise at bay. Even though these headphones are only rated to 98db they did a fine job on several fronts...Headphones (no mic), cinch splitter above the "Y" joint, good sound quality, sturdy build quality, good investment so far. We shall see if they last the test of time and regular use of exercise./cheers

Must have for Sound Engineers and Average Listeners
These will blow any other 60-120 earbuds or headphones out of the water.Simply amazing... I will be writing a very detailed review soon...but ive put Hundreds of hours on these already...to the point...i had to take a break cuase my ears weren't used to having anything in them that long. They come with 3 acoustic filters that offer a bass profile, a flat studio profile and a more treble/vocal profile...easily filter just easily screws on and off.and it comes with i 6 additional pairs of im guessing silicone ear bud rubber things..lol... i think one is a repeat of the stock size.over all these are epic sounding and very high quality... China did something right on these... I do hope echobox offers higher end Japanese/American Made products one day.but with these already being so high end and awesome...theres really no need... but im a stickler and will always believe the Japanese, Americans and Germans will always build the best products..ok...so i will write a nerdy detailed review asap...and post a video of the unboxing and the review asap.buy these youll never look back.!.

These are the best In-ear buds I have listened to for under $200 and have (2) pairs now.
I rarely used the high-end Grado and Beyerdynamic headphones I owned, so I wanted audiophile quality ear-buds to listen to mp3 files with a laptop & iPod. I listen to classical music and sampled a number of in-ear buds, including the 1More Triple Driver. While I liked its soundstage, the treble was too repressed. The highs were not clear.I have Grado ear buds in which the treble is very clear -- and the Echobox buds match the treble quality rather well -- along with better bass. I would say these are very balanced and give an accurate reproduction of the original. After buying a first pair in April, I saw a sale on them and obtained a second pair in July.*The built-quality is high-end *The cord does not tangle like the Grado's or others I tried. *The filters screw-on securely. *Sound improves over time, so there is a break-in period. *This comes with numerous ear tips...For buds in the $40-$50 range, one consideration is the Beyerdynamic premium in-ear headset. Enjoy!

Blown loudness and headroom
Very disappointed. You can get the same audio quality and loudness by just equalizing the music app on your phone. I have many years of experience mixing, mastering and producing music. These earphones push the master audio to a peaking level. Not worth the price or the titanium hype in my opinion, but note my opinion may be subjective. It all depends on your ear sensitivity.

A Decent Choice
TL:dr The Echobox Finder X1 is a set of headphones with solid technical ability and good accessory set, but let down by poor tuning and uneven build quality. The Good:-Solid technical ability-Good end-to-end extension-Good accessory setThe best thing I can say about the Echobox Finder X1 is that they're a really solid set of IEMs from a technical standpoint. Detail retrieval is very competitive, soundstaging is above average for a closed IEM, and end-to-end extension is great. They do well with complex music and don't get overwhelmed with busy tracks. The accessory set is pretty good as well, with a good selection of tips, filters, and a nice case. I would've liked to have seen some foam tips included, though. The Bad:-Mediocre tuning-Uneven build-Filters don't do muchThe tuning, however, is a bit of a letdown. The Finder X1 is tuned pretty v-shaped in general - big bass, big treble, mids slightly behind. The overall tuning isn't a huge deal, but the details are. The biggest issue is that the treble is tuned quite bright, with a 6-7k peak where there should be a dip to compensate for ear canal resonance. This means that regardless of the filters you choose, the Finders are going to be pretty bright. If you're treble sensitive (like me!) be wary. Thankfully, this can be tamed somewhat using EQ or foam tips. The other issue I have is the build quality. The earpieces, split, and plug are all well made, but the cable is pretty awful. While it's reasonably resistant to tangles, it's very stiff and holds on to kinks and bends for quite some time. Finally, the filters are mostly just there for show. The difference between the bassiest and trebliest filters is about 2-3db in the high range. Given the aforementioned bright default tuning, Echobox would've been well advised to just leave the bass filters on and skip the other two, because I doubt most people are going to use them.If you like a brighter set of headphones or don't mind using EQ, the Finders are a solid choice in this price range.
