Very sharp, to be used with caution. Great handle for good grip. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice paring knife.

Good quality, very sharp

Good knife for the money. Love the size and blade shape for delicate cutting and peeling of small items. The only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that I find the handle a bit large and bulky for this size knife. The size and shape of the handle just feels oddly proportioned to the working blade in my hands. As far as weight, the knife feels fairly balanced. The size and shape of the handle is not really a “flaw”, but it was enough to keep me from giving a fifth star in the review.

It fits in my (small) hand perfectly. Be very careful handling it, especially if you are new to using a tourne knife. It’s very sharp, especially the tip!

This is a kitchen essential! I have given one to friends, family, and always have two in my knife block. I regularly include it in gift-baskets. I really don't know how any kitchen functions without this bird-beak paring knife. I absolutely love it for removing seeds from apples/pears, slicing small fruits/vegetables, removing the tops of strawberries and any food prep where simple control is valued and waste is not an option. This knife becomes an extension of your hand- truly!

The knife is okay, works well on apples and other curved fruit, not very sharp, requiring sharpening immediately.
