Great and they keep the iron legs of my porch furniture from scratching the wood decking.

I had to write a review - these MAGIC SLIDERS - 04557 Sliding Discs, Grey - work fabulous. I can now move my furniture on my living room rug with no issues, and no marks are left on the rug when I moved the furniture. Would definitely buy them again.

I purchased these sliders because my couch has metal legs with a small round rubber. The rubber on one leg is gone. When people sit down on the couch they have a tendency to push the couch back as they sit causing the legs to scrape across my stone floors. These sliders were larger than I needed but they work! Yes, when people sit they still slide the couch back, but it's a whisper instead of a screech.

"With adhesive" version works well

I have used these for a sofa with big square legs. When they are placed in each corner, they are perfect. The sofa "glides" on the carpet and the wood floor. There is nothing better than Magic Sliders. My only complaint is that they are not as easy to find as they used to be.

Moved six months ago, and what a bonus for the elderly. After moving, furniture often has to be moved to another location. The Glides make it so much easier to rearrange heavy furniture. Have purchased many of these, and will not throw them away. I have left many of the them under the furniture legs to make cleaning easier, and also made sure to package and save the rest for when necessary. A great buy.

Although this item states it works with hardwoods, neither I nor my hardwood installer can recommend it. If you have hardwoods, use a felt slider. These slider will work, but will scratch your hardwoods regardless of how clean the surface is. They work GREAT on carpet and tile.

These are amazing little gadgets. I've got all sizes and all shapes under all of my heavy furniture. Had an engineer out recently who really wasn't looking forward to trying to move my washing machine - I told him, it's fine, I fitted magic sliders underneath, even I can move it. He looked dubious, braced himself, and pulled the washing machine towards him. The look on his face and the reaction when it easily slid towards him was priceless - he was amazed. Had never come across anything like it before, and asked me all about them, and where I got them from. Said if everyone had these under their appliances it would make his life so much easier. Washing machines are about the heaviest item in anyone's house, and if they glide out easily, then worth every penny in my book. I can even pull out my big tall, heavy, American styled fridge freezer to clean underneath - on my own ! As a 5ft 2 female I think that's testament to what a difference they make. Can't praise them enough.

I bought these to go under a heavy appliance that I couldn't move. They certainly make it possible for me to slide the appliance across my porcelain tile easily and seem to be sticking well. They are not the right shape so my only comment would be that they also make these in a circular shape to fit different uses.
