I use these for a latch under my stairs. Theyre very strong. Multiple ways to fit, 3m or screws, i went with screws. Quality looks pretty decent, theyre plenty heavy enough cos of the magnets. Would recommend.

A very strong magnetic catch

Very strong magnets and easy to fit, but on of the plates I received had one hole not drilled through. Luckily I had some steel bits for my drill so I was able to fix it but poor quality control loses a star.

The product arrived but not as displayed on Amazon ~ it had no monogram! Installation as instructed does NOT work. Why ~ due to the fact that the base magnetic unit is so strong the thin door section where the double sided tape should be placed doesn’t have strong enough adhesion to leave it on the door! Fix ~ insert the screws into respective thin door plate. Close the door and push the door firmly enough to permit the screw heads to indent the door. Simply open door and screw on the thin metal strip. Would I recommend these magnetic holders > YES I DO.

Really strong, I bought to close a catio door and wanted ones strong enough to stop a cat pushing them open. Used two per door and its perfect at keeping the door nicely secured shut tight.

I wanted something that would baby proof the cupboards. This is strong enough to stop a baby opening a cupboard door. I bought two others and the screws were terrible but these are black and good quality. I would recommend screwing in the door catch first, then close the door and draw the holes for the magnet. Makes the installation much easier!

The question I had when I purchased these was - would they be strong enough! The answer is definitely yes. I’m using them to hold sizeable wood panels in place vertically. Also used one I had left over to hold our ironing board upright in a cupboard. Given the strength of the magnets I didn’t think the 3M sticky pads used to position the catches would work. They did!
