SITKA Men's Quiet Gore-Tex Windstopper Insulated Hunting Fanatic Jacket

This jacket is awesome. It is 100% silent and very warm. I layer underneath it and have hunted in low 20’s with no issue. I carry in a backpack on my way out so I don’t sweat. Easy to put on in my stand and like that I don’t have to remove my harness to put on. Yeah, this stuff is expensive. There is no denying that. Can you get decent gear for a lot cheaper? Sure you can. Does that gear have features you didn’t even know that you needed? I doubt it. It’s a investment. Buy good gear, take care of it and it will last. I bought the bibs as well. They are equally amazing.

My old coat was done and looking to get another that will handle the colder temps. I couldn't find any reviews on Amazon or on Sitka's site for my body type and was unsure if I should go 2X or 3X in the Fanatic jacket. I am 6'0" @ 300lbs. I tried on a Stratus (for reference) in my local Sportsmans Warehouse in a 2X and it fit fine but was a snugger fit. I wouldn't want to layer it. I heard the fanatic ran smaller in more than a few reviews so I gave the 3X a try. This worked great. It still doesn't block the bow with any bagginess, but I could also put a layer or two underneath if if gets really cold out. At the cost of Sitka I can't afford another layer of outer jacket like the Incinerator, so the ability to layer under this is huge. I don't have exceptionally long arms and they fit just fine, no issues.I would wear a 2X or 2XT in about anything Carhartt, 2X in most long sleeve button downs from Duluth, but the 3X in this was good. The jacket was warm already just trying it on. Can't wait to get it in the woods.

I'm 5,10 150lbs. Purchased the medium.Fits well with layers underneath while also having a ton of movement. Even when over layered I can still move and draw my bow with 0 issues. This is why I chose sitka. Sometimes the product just speaks for itself.

This was too warm during the afternoon hunts during the 2022 WV Buck Firearm Season but the product is exactly as advertised. You might want to get the fanatic hoodie and wear that while walking in and put this jacket on once you get to where you are hunting at. Very heavy to wear.
