1.8L Electric Tea Kettle, Easy-Fill Lid Water Boiler, Black KP413B

This kettle is great! It's light-weight, heats up FAST, and is so convenient to be able to fill it from the top, rather than having to open the lid. It's also a HUGE plus that is's BPA free. I'm loving it in the short time I've had it. Have made tea and instant oatmeal. I will use it often.

My husband and I are currently in the process of remodeling our room, and I told him that I would like to have a “tea station” in the room so I can make my nightly tea in the comfort of our new room. We began searching high and low for a budget friendly, simple, and large quantity kettle. This one the first option that we had! We purchased the White ProntoFill, KP413 kettle option! Here are some things I like and dislike about the product. Likes: - It has a labeled water quantity scale on the kettle. - The kettle heats up water fast and brings the water to a boil quicker than expected. It’s quicker than heating and boiling water on the stove, making our preparation time for tea faster. - The kettle is good quality for the budget friendly price. We were expecting a cheaper plastic material, in which it has, but is simple enough to appear long lasting. - It’s easily accessible and easy to take from one place to another. - The bottom of the kettle allows for keeping space, including an area to wrap the cord once boiling is completed. - It’s a BPA free product, which is highly enjoyable and just what we were looking for. - The kettle has automatic turn off when at a certain temperature. Dislikes: - We don’t necessarily dislike this feature, but the water catcher on the top of the lid is unnecessary when you can push the button on the handle to open the entire lid. - The inside mouth of the kettle could be a bit larger in attempt prevent improper cleaning. My husband cleaned the product upon opening and said it could be a bit larger. - When put on the bottom boiler piece, the kettle does not stay fully secure and wobbles when moved and isn’t very stable on most surfaces. We had our kettle on a counter top and still faced this issue. - This kettle does not have a strainer for loose leaf teas or coffee grounds (but both can be done in this products). - After using this kettle to make coffee, we were testing to see how coffee grounds would work. We would NOT recommend using coffee grounds. It ended up staining the white of our kettle and the grounds are impossible to remove and clean from certain areas on the inside. Keep this a limited kettle after purchasing. Overall, we are very pleased and glad we purchased this kettle. We would definitely recommend this to someone buying in a budget friendly price range or to someone looking for a basic, simple kettle!

I wanted to wait until I actually used the pot, before commenting. The first thing that struck me was the size. I had expected it to be much smaller. At first I was concerned, because I had planned to use it for travel, and thought it might take up too much packing area. But after using it one weekend, we agree it's worth making room for. It's silent, light, detachable cord, and makes a lot of hot water in a hurry. Rating: A+

quality and value for the price. it is a larger capacity so at 1st may take abit longer to heaqt but once it does it rolls.

I can't believe the size of this kettle. I had one about half this size so I wanted to get something bigger. It holds so much! We use it for hot tea and making iced tea. My son can use it for Ramen cups. Hot chocolate. It's getting cold out so we will be using it a lot. My husband was so impressed by how fast a kettle heats up compared to heating on the stove. He's hooked! Lol

I liked this kettle so much that I bought 3 of them. It boils a full pot in 2 minutes. Because it is plastic, it weighs less when it is full compared to glass kettles. The lid opens very smoothly with the press of a button. I have tried different brands of kettles over many years but now I stick with Ovente. They seem to be the most reliable, long-lasting & have a good variety of styles & colors to choose from

I love this kettle and have been using it for the better part of a year with almost no problems. My one little problem might be a me being dumb issue but the filter was a bit tricky to figure out. Amazon kept telling me to slide it in and it would snap itself in easily but I was jumping hoops trying to figure out how to "slide it in". I tried sliding it through the top, then through the bottom, was not going in. Finally after leaving Amazon which was "slide it in" ing me to death I finally figured out you don't really slide anything, you align the piece at the bottom with the matching piece on the kettle interior and it snaps in. I definitely could be the dumb one here but incase it confused anyone else 🤷‍♂️ I feel like that could have been explained much better.

I don't know why more Americans don't use rapid water boilers. I'd never seen one until I went abroad and now I don't like to be without mine. I broke my old one recently and had to replace it. The old one was oval on the bottom which meant I had to line it up right with it's base to use it. This one being round mean's it's always lined up! I believe this one boils even more quickly, and has a terrific fill-through top! You wouldn't think this would be important, I mean, the top does lift, but I usually boil water from bottles and it's just so perfect to able to pour straight into the top. It saves a step: a very small step, but there you go. I love it, the price is terrific, and once again, I have hot water for tea, coffee, instant soup, oatmeal, hot chocolate--you get it--in about 2 minutes.
