KontrolFreek Performance Grips for PlayStation 5 (PS5) Controller (Nightfall Black)

Has great grip, feels great in my hand. Without them on, my palms would sweat and sometimes I would drop the controller after a long gaming session. It has a nice height to it so you can easily control and hit buttons without having to smash em. They are thick so they should last. Only con if you can say is when applying them if your not careful the tape will lock in.

I got these instead of replacing the controller shell to add some grip. This were much easier to install and they work well. The added padding is nice too.

Coming from an Xbox Elite Controller. The lack of such options for PS5 (at the time of this review being written) was disappointing. Thought this would be a good option to improve the comfort of the stock controller. SO GLAD I got these. They install super easy, just line them up and stick them on. You may get some slight bumps in spots when you stick the grips on. That isn't a reflection of their quality, but rather the natural outcome of sticking a flat object across a curved surface. The bumps are not noticeable and don't impact comfort or aesthetic in any way. Paired these with the analog stick extenders to elite-ify my stock PS5 controller. I used to hate the way the controller felt - now it's so comfortable I can't wait to pick it up! Great investment for any gamer, particularly if you have big hands.

Had this for awhile now. Good quality and works well. Though they are now coming off and the adhesive is a nuance. Gonna need some "goo gone" to get all the adhesive/residue off

Extremely comfy to hold, especially when paired with a set of their thumbstick grips for optimal aiming assist in shooters. Highly recommend!

First off I will say these things are great. They take a little patience while applying, and you can see the slight wrinkles on the reserve side, but those are the only two real drawbacks for these guys, as long as you're not planning to take them off. Before I get into the removal I will say that they may be noticeable in the photo, but the slight wrinkling isnt noticeable by touch and it's on the back so doesn't bother me at all. I did have to remove one side of these from my original controller and it does leave the entire adhesive layer in your controller when you pull off the skin (at least it did on mine). However, with a little rubbing, and a tiny bit of GooGone, they look brand new. I was taking mine off because I had ripped a piece and was replacing it with a new one, so I figured all it did was give it more to stick to, but that is only the case for a little bit. I honestly thought I was being slick, saving time and adding more adhesive to the situation, but that just allows the piece to shift over a fairly short period of time. Make sure to clean it well before you add these. All in all I really like them. I replaced the back piece of my new camo controller with a "textured" shell that worked just a tad better than the stock when it comes to slipping off everything so, as you can see, I got a set for it and I'm totally happy with it covering part of the print. I think it looks great actually so yeah, get some!

After a few months of owning the grips the adhessive starts to peel away but still has a great feel all together.

Cut some of the grip off on the right side near the X and O buttons. With the grips put on as low as possible they were still kind of close. Not at all a flaw, just my preference. Otherwise great product!

Very comfortable, relatively easy to install and adds a little colour to create a unique controller build

Was very happy bit after a while they began to separate and peel. Got a cheap brand for my new edge and they are half price and twice as good.

I used these for approx. 45 minutes and had to stop. First off, the quality of the product is better than I expected. They felt nice to the touch. If one takes their time, follow the instructions, they can easily install the grips to the controller (correctly). That being said, despite properly installing them, the grips had some (understandable) gaps around the curves (necessary to wrap around the controller contours). Now, having large hands, while holding the controller, these gaps would uncomfortably come onto contact with specific parts of my (calloused) hands. This was surprisingly uncomfortable. Kind of like an edge that leads to a blister. I am not normally one to get hot/sweaty hand when gaming. These grips, despite the product information declaring its cooling properties, made my hands quite hot. This is another mark against the product. It's creating a problem where a problem didn't exist. The grips simply do not work for me. Perhaps they better serve people with smaller hand. No recommended

Easy to put on, adhesive sticks strong, cut to size to fit perfect, give the controller that little bit of extra grip, feels good.
