I don't know if it is vegan or cruelty free, I do know it is infused with bamboo extract. I went to Garnier's site and found the list of ingredient's, perhaps that will answer your question. I personally don't see anything that would step over the line for you but it would be best if you reviewed the list of ingredients for your satisfaction:
