My experience with the Bloodborne Board Game
The minis were the reason I wanted this, for painting and display purposes, and I wasn't disappointed, plenty of intricate detail on high quality resin minis. I did, of course, look at the rules and was baffled. The rules are quite complex and the FAQ is about as long as the core rules, and YT tutorials are all quite complicated. The minis are suitable for DnD or other tabletop board games. Sizewise, The Hunters are 1-1.5 inches tall, most enemies are around 1.5-2.5 inches and the Cleric Beast standing at 4 inches.

Well this is complicated...I love it!
So the box was damaged in transit! Not ideal when you're spending that much on a boardgame. But thankfully nothing else was damaged. All the pieces were in tact and good to go. If you love the difficulty of Bloodborne, like I do. Then this game is still very VERY difficult to get your head around. I'd highly recommend looking at online/ step by step instructions rather than trying to decipher the instruction book that comes with the game. Have a few trial runs (with plenty of time as the set up take the best part of 30mins) on your own before having a mate over. But it's a great collector piece, just a shame about the damage to the box.

Cainhurst Castle expansion Incomplete!
Everything was perfect until I realised one of the spaces right next to logarius was missing. So I went to check which one was supposed to be occupying it's slot... Turns out it's one of the main bosses, the Vileblood Queen Annalise! Kinda bummed out about this but at least it wasnt logarius or otherwise I would've returned it straight away. I can live with this although still disappointed about the turn of events.

This is one of my favorite expansions for any boars game. The Bloodborne game is just as difficult as the video game. You must be strategic when placing your hit cards. The miniatures are very detailed and helps with the immersion in the story. It also comes with additional quests leading to long and fascinating campaigns. The price is definitely a steal for everything you get. You must have the Bloodborne base game to play this expansion. I also highly recommend the Cainhurst Castle expansion. Enjoy the hunt!
