My last hand can opener broke and I wanted an orange one to match all my other kitchen utensils but could find one in stores, and was so happy to find this set on Amazon. I did not have a "church key" opener in the house so a big plus! Can open works great, very smooth and it arrived in two days, just as promised.

UPDATE: After about 10 cans opened, the opener will not grip the can and my wife HATES it! I can barely make it work! We bought this for emergencies; I am glad I discovered it was useless before the emergency!I wanted to write a review on this product because I DIDN'T get it free; just read the reviews and ordered it. Have developed RA suddenly in the last year and needed an easy way to open cans; the cans keep falling off the electric opener and the cheaper manual one I bought "skips" around the can and is useless; a second one I bought is hard to turn; so I went with the "spendy" one; this one is quite easy to turn and works nicely, even on cans that were already messed up from prior attempts by the other opener;don't know what it will do long term but it certainly has started out well; if it holds up, it is worth 5 starsHaven't figured out the "4" in 1 opener: thought I could use it to break the vacuum seal on pickle and jam jars but it didn't work for that; instructions would have been nice, but the pictures on Amazon give 3 of the 4 usesOnly 4 stars because I don't know how it will hold up; however, it does seem to be considerably better quality than the general ones you find in stores.

Very sturdy and opens cans smoothly. Like the bottle opener that came with it, nice bonus. Will find out with time if this lasts longer than my last can opener but it seems very well constructed. Hand grips are comfortable and the color is fun. Overall please with the purchase so far.

I am uncertain what all the 5 star reviewers are working with here. I felt this product had shoddy workmanship. Mine broke in 6 months. I would not purchase again. I remain on my quest for a solidly constructed can opener.

Can opener worked great when we got it, but then within a few months stopped working entirely. It's not like it fell apart or anything, but it just no longer presses down deep enough to open cans or something. To be honest I can't figure out exactly what is wrong with it, but it is not functioning at all any longer. I put it in position on the can, clamp down, and start turning, and nothing happens. Bottle opener works fine still, so I can't give this 1 star, but the can opener itself is a dud.

The only downside to this opener is that it's a little big for ladies hands. But not terrible. Very sharp. Love the rubber grip. That makes it easier to hold. The bottle opener in this duo is a must have for all kitchens! Great for opening jars, bottles, etc. The set is very well made & not the cheap plastic junk. I am happy with the purchase!

These work great. Easy to use. I had bought the new fangled kind years ago that take the entire lid off. But I have to fight and figure it out every time I use it and leaves the sharp edge at the top of the can. I am so happy with this purchase.

I'm interested I purchasing quality durable items. It is difficult to say how durable anything will be, but I would have rated this as a high-end probably highly durable can opener if not for the combination of plastic sleeve bearing that holds the shaft and other than wide gears, and the can star wheel that other reviewers report as worn out fast. If the plastic sleeve compresses or wears a little, the narrow gears will not align that will be the end of it, and others have reported that their can opener did not last long. My cheap can openers have metal where this one has plastic where the shaft passes through the frame from the knob that is twisted to open a can, and they have lasted for decades but are rusty.This 25$ stainless steel (SS) can opener versus my rusty old chromed steel (CS) openers: (1) steel thickness 71/75 mil (SS/CS) . (2) thickness of gear 69 mil/73 mil. (3) 275/210 mil shaft diameter. (4) metal handle welded to shaft v plastic handle that is certain to crack or slip. (5) 8" long v 7". (6) nice feeling rubber over chrome plated plastic slip-on handles v hard plastic that will crack when dropped, (7) the star wheel teeth are little tips (SS) v broad saw tooth ramps (CS) and the ramps seem far more rugged, (8) the shaft gear is not attached centered, such that it binds up each rotation. Cuts cans well due to narrowness of the mechanics. For 25$ I expect better and have returned this item. Seller pictures do not show the gears that some reviewers have found deficient, so I will attempt to attach photos.
