FLAMMARION French Pastries and Desserts by Lenôtre: More than 200 Classic Recipes

I am so pleased with the updated French Pastries and Desserts, of Lenotre. I have copies of the original books, that must be 35 to 40 years old. It is great to see lots of updated pictures and recipes in this new publication. An excellent publication for those of us who enjoy baking, entertaining and experimenting.

This is a wonderful French pastry book with a great balance of classic techniques and refined desserts. The recipes are well written, clear, and thoughtfully explained, making them approachable while still feeling authentic to French pastry.The presentation is beautiful and inspiring, and it’s a book I find myself reaching for often—both for reference and inspiration. Whether you’re serious about baking or simply love French desserts, this book is a great addition to your collection.

This book is not for beginners/novices at all.Especially, those pages in the Glazes, Decorations, and related to the laminated pastry (like croissants...).However, It is a comprehensive and inspiring French Pastries book for those who in the advanced level and in the professional field.

I am a new baker - unable to comment much on the recipes.I wish it has more photographs for bakers to visualise the recipes without additional googling - this would be especially helpful for new bakers who are not familiar with the wide spectrum of bakes.Book was nicely cling-wrapped to protect the heavy book.

A beautiful pastry book. Full of French pastry classics with a contemporary feel. Relevant and accessible for home or professionals.
