Works great.
Screwed down 3/4" flooring on a 16' by 40' building in less than an hour and my back was no worse for the wear. Be sure to keep the gun square with the screwing surface. I did have a problem with jamming but that was user error, there is only one correct way to insert the screws.

Back Saver
Back saver! Drives and feeds collated DSVT 3" deck screws very well. Well constructed Quik Drive system and Dewalt screw gun is great...plenty of power! Still need to pilot and toenail deck screws for butt joints on deck boards into floor joists and hand install screws with separate screw gun.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER
After assembling this item we realized you can not see where you are drilling. It may be ok for certain applications but only if you need to have an approximate 1” location from where you are drilling. Unfortunately for us it was not the right application. I requested to return the VERY EXPENSIVE item and they said No after 30 days?? That is less than major box stores that take it even 90 days or more. It is brand new and has not been used. We didn’t try to return the screws (which now we can’t use either) only the drill. Terrible customer service so I would advise to not buy this item from this seller and save yourself the headache!

It is worth the money
Screwed down 2040 square foot deck with no issues I have a bad back but with this I still blow away the young bucks 😂

Ridiculous restocking fee!!
Simpson strong recommended this tool for an application that ended up not being as efficient as I thought. So I returned the 2 screw guns. At no point was there any warning that there would be over $400 worth of restocking fees!! That is absurd and I have requested that this restocking fee would be dramatically decreased. Very upset with this.

Do not buy from this company!
According to the contractor the drill did not ever work correctly. It's was used to drill two screws and determined it was more work than it was worth. I returned it clean, in case, all parts included and they kept 50% of the cost, including tax as a restocking fee.

Not cordless!
This item is not cordless and does not come with batteries or charger. Otherwise it’s a great product!
