Very badly packaged
I love the Downey Free and Clear but this delivery was very badly packaged and the large heavy bottle leaked into the covering plastic bag and then all over the box and kitchen floor as I was trying to get the bag off. All in all this is a very bad way to package large, heavy containers of liquid

Bottle lasts forever
We benefit from super-soft water, so a tiny bit goes quite a long way in our HE washer. I had stopped using it for about a year because I dropped it and busted the cap, so using what's left is a bit of a hassle, but recently I started using it again and noticed how the laundry is much softer than when I use Persil. (Love Persil, by the way.) This detergent adds a particular softness to fleece garments. I can't speak to stain-fighting, really, because anything that's messy gets pre-treated with other products.

I love it and used for several years when living in Europe.
When I was living in Europe, I used Frosch always and I was disappointed that I did not find it as I reallocated to here. US eco laundry detergents could not wash the same way, German detergent did it. I switched to non-eco, and now I have eczema and cystic acne... I am very happy to find Frosch! It helps my laundry to be clean and non-aัlegic at the same way! If somebody is disappointed that things are not so soft after washing, please use conditioner and bear in mind that there is trade off "allergy and not eco friendly" vs "less soft, no allergy and eco friendly".
