Great color effect
As described did take much to add a blue tint to my pond water. Made it look great plus helped with algae growth. Was stras I get forward to use. Just pour around pond but wear gloves cost is reasonable

Good.
Works as it should and much cheaper than what I pay at the local farm stores.

Best I have found!
This product is the best I have found!! Just dump it on the side! It spreads very quickly and the color lasts me about a year. The blue is dark but not too dark. Looks like indigo!

works too well be careful
I have a 7’ x 15’ 1000 gallon cichlid pond in Florida, so needless to say it gets HOT outside and the pond is only about 2’ deep, so the pond water gets pretty warm. Maybe i’m wrong, but I don’t recall it ever getting this hot in there any other summer.. the water temperature has been in the mid 90s for about 2 months and I feel so bad for my fish!!! They have a bridge going across, water lilies (at least the ones that haven’t been fried to death), the house, and a waterfall for shade, but it’s not enough. I looked up “pond shade” and this came up. I shopped around for a while before deciding on this one. I knew it was super concentrated and I knew not to add too much.. but I didn’t read or calculate anything. I added the tiniest bit… I didn’t measure but it was maybe 2 tablespoons and it was way way wayyy too much. I had to drain half the water just to get it a more normal blue. I’m sure it’s normal but now all my fish appear blue lol but that’s probably from the different colors hitting the light and the new reflection refraction whatever.. but i’m fairly confident they aren’t actually blue. My family thinks they are blue lol but im relatively certain they’re not. I’m not netting one to find out bc every time I do that, they don’t trust me 😭 and it takes forever to win it back! One of my older severums has seen better days and has been spending most of her time in one place on the bottom, so i’ll find out if they are tinted or not when I take her out. I’ll have to get used to it, and I can see how it blocks out the (some) sun which was my only reason for getting this… that and the algae. Keeping up with the algae could be a daily ordeal if I felt like doing it everyday. I have a few young electric blue acara that live in the “shallow end” where I put ornaments and other hiding spots, so they have a fighting chance in a pond with full grown aggressive/semi aggressive cichlids (they’re actually a pretty peaceful group), and the ornaments get caked with algae every single day. I use this API barley powder mix and pond algaecide but it still needs weekly maintenance at the very least.. at least cleaning the filter pads and around the ornaments. It lets up around November when it starts to cool off. We have heaters for the winter so it never gets below 75, but I wish I could keep it below 85 in the summer. Hopefully this helps. ps. in the pic my water liles are fried from the sun and probably also the algaecide sorry they look like 💩😭

Works great, handle with care.
Getting ready to order more, makes beautiful blue water and didn't hurt my plants or fish. But one word of warning when you add to your pond get close to the water as possible otherwise it will make blue dots on you and your rocks. I had to get in my pond for maintenance and it turned me and my clothes blue but it washed out. My lasted for 3 months before reapplying

Nice color but has not reduced weed growth
Was using this to reduce the growth of weeds in my pond by darkening the water. It turned the water a nice blue but so far has not reduced the weed growth as hoped.

Great value and product
We put this in our pond last May and you can still see a distinct blue hue. Just reordered (one year later) to refresh it, but we're super happy with this product.

Great value, strong and brilliant blue colour.
Great choice. Affordable and extremely strong colour. I use about 4mL for the colour level I prefer in my 1000 gal pond. Less than one drop is enough to colour a large aquarium to a pleasant blue as well. Most brands at retail stores are now far less concentrated than this dye, I would buy this again over any of those. I accidentally left it in the shed and it froze, but upon defrosting I have noticed no problems with it, still works just as well and no separation of the dye. Excellent value.
