Mani Wraps Salon Quality Nail Wraps - Simply Solids (White Halo)

I put off buying these because I'm a Doubting Thomasina. Glad I decided to use a little faith, with the help of other reviewers. Before applying, I did my homework. I went to the site and watched the application video a couple of times. The kit comes with everything you need except scissors. I got some good ones and also a rubber cuticle pusher. Yes, there is a bit of a learning curve, but it isn't that hard! I also used some 3.0 reading glasses so I could see in detail what I was doing. What really impressed me is the company. They stand behind their product and are very helpful. I got a personal response to my email, which I sent in response to their offer for a free set for First Time users. The company recognizes that there is a learning curve and so at the time of this writing, they will send you an extra set of your choosing. What I am loving about the product is that the wraps protect my nails from splitting even after using polish remover (which usually causes havoc for me even after one time.) So far, my nails have not been damaged in the removal process. I recently heard that you can use warm coconut oil to remove them. Gotta try that. I chose the Simply Solid "Touch of Pink" which is a very natural color, almost the color of my skin. . I'm a little old for the flair and crazy that the younger generation can get away with, but my next adventure is to try the Poison Ivy style. That's my idea of being a risk taker in my old age.

(Posting from my husband's account!) I applied these the first time without heat, they bunched around the edges and were harder to file down. When using heat I had a much better experience.I love these so much better than Jamberrys because they're not as thick and are much cheaper. But sometimes when I'm rough with my nails (which I most always am) the clear protective top layer comes up around the tips and separates. I've peeled them off before but then the nails aren't as shiny and they don't last as long.I've only kept them on 8 days at most because my nails grew out and I was anxious to change up the design, but I'm sure they would've lasted the full 2 weeks if I had left them on.Overall, I love this brand over most of the ones I've tried. I've bought them directly from their website too and there are lots of cute designs (although I wish there were more!).

I really wanted to like these. I gave them a chance but they tend to crease and bubble around the edges of the wrap and it was impossible to get them to lay flat. I followed the instructions to a T and even gave my left over wraps to my mom who wasn't able to get them to work. Sadly not for me.

These were just too awkward and didn't look right. The amount of trimming I had to do to make them fit, plus how easily they peel right off, rendered them rather useless. They just look like colored tape on fingertips. But they might work for someone else.

I requested a refund on these because they're not what I thought they were.

Didn't stay on good for me. Gave them to a granddaughter. She was thrilled.

I have tried acrylics, nail polish and shellac (sp?) with no luck. I use my hands a lot so all of them chip or fall off EXCEPT for these wraps! They last me almost two weeks. I love them!
