Yes, my birdies will eat most anything I put in the basket. Aso cut up some apples and pear bits. Ate them too. Used cake crumbs and squirrels worked their way to that. Cookie crumbs work too. Good luck. Hope this helps.

I purchased two of these. It's been a week and the birds haven't touched either, but have emptied my seed feeder. Any advice?

If you are in a northern climate, wait for winter, in my experience suet does better when there is snow on the ground. It is hard to compete with all of the spring seeds available for the birds. Only the lazy birds go to the feeder in the spring :).

Is the quantity only one for this price?
