June Peters, You Will Change The World One Day

Children are smart they we give them credit for.

Liked the story line. No matter how young you are, you can do something important in this world. Loved the illustrations. They were perfect for this story.Questioned the brother giving her money to go back to do what mom said not to do. If the man had been awake, would she not have talked to him also? All in all, an excellent read. I will read more of series and purchase for grands.

So much I loved about this book for my 7 year old. Not only was it a story about giving and having compassion for all, but it shows children that they too can have an impact in today's world with their hopes and dreams. I look forward to a series of books about June and the many adventures she will go on, because she is the example of kindheartedness and putting others before her own needs. A true example of what God wants us all to be, and the author captured that and was able to deliver that message in a children's book in a way they could understand. In a world with so much selfishness, it's books with characters like June Peters that we hope our children will remember and be that example in their own community.

My dogs and I really enjoyed this book about a little girl who is so selfless that she gives away her lunch money to a homeless person she meets on the way to school. Her mom wants her to be careful and not just talk to random strangers, so they decide to do something more to help the homeless community in their city. June spearheads an idea for a Feed The Homeless Day and gets all of her friends and family to participate. The results are amazing! The story is a definitely a feel good one with a positive message.We really enjoyed the illustrations as well. They were so vivid and colorful.

My granddaughter love this book

This book was a very good read. It helps to show the unselfish side of children in a world about self. I would definitely recommend this to others.

I loved the idea of the capture of problem solving in young children. This is an extremely complex topic and children are compassionate and caring. I loved how the concept of family togetherness was explored and the way planning was written about. I love this gifted author and will buy many more of her books for my students.
