is it portable? can we carry it around in the diaper bag?

It's not the most convenient thing to carry it in the diaper bag. We drain the water out and do take it places. i think it's way more convenient than warming water to warm the bottle. We love love love it. Best purchase

Can this be used to thaw Lansinoh storage bags frozen flat? Thanks!

Yes you can use the kozii to thaw breast milk that you have frozen flat. Just make sure that the bag is firmly sealed so that the water does not enter the bag. I would recommend no more than two minutes then remove the bag and mix the thawed with the frozen milk (squish it around with your hands) then re insert the bag and try another 1 to 2 minutes to finish the thaw and then check to make sure that the milk is warm enough for your baby's liking if not, adjust the time with small increases until you reach the optimum temperature. Best of luck!

Will this fit any type of bottle, meaning you don't have to use a specific brand?

Absolutely, I use the comotomo bottles that have a pretty wide diameter and they fit in the warmer perfectly.
