Buyer beware run the other way
I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my husband. When he brought it into the garage for its first use, it was immediately apparent that multiple fittings were loose. After tightening all fittings and pressurizing the tank to 40 PSI, an audible air leak remained. A soapy water test confirmed leaks at several fittings. Teflon tape was applied, and all connections were tightened again, yet the unit continued to leak air from multiple locations. This level of workmanship is extremely disappointing. It is difficult to believe this product left the factory without someone being aware of these issues. The number of leaks on a brand-new unit strongly suggests a quality control failure, not an isolated defect. Given these issues, I have no confidence in the reliability or safety of this product. I will be returning it and feel it is important to warn other buyers that the quality control on this item appears severely lacking.

great for resin casting
roomy vessel with a flat bottom to support your resin molds in an upright position; no need to adjust the vessel for resin casting (it's already ready to go!)

Good pressure pot even wirh all the problems
The pressure pot Will certainly do the job. However a poor shipping Container, Many leaks in a fittings, And a bad gasket for the lid makes it a challenge for the best operation. I think with a little more Quality control the pressure pot would have been a much more pleasant experience

Big enough for larger castings
It’s a good tank. In the end I’m pleased with how it works however…I did have some issues getting a seal that I eventually sorted out through trial and error. First almost all the fittings were tight but not tight enough to prevent a slow loss of pressure. Soapy water trick eventually solved this. Second the tank is shipped in a near useless cardboard box that was so battered and beaten that I wondered why they bothered at all. It’s a good thing that the loose parts are placed inside the tank prior to shipping or none of them would have been in the box. This lack of proper packaging I expect why another leak was created. There was a dime sized chip in the paint on the rim of the tank right where the lid gasket sits. Because the paint is thick, the lid gasket would not conform to the shape between where there is paint and no paint . The leak was slow but noticeable. In 12 hours it would lose 20 psi. Sanding the paint either side of the chip to reduce the ridge between paint and no paint, corrected the problem. The poor packaging also resulted in one of the lid clamps arriving bent. Fixable but when you spend $1000 canadian I would have thought it would be packaged well enough to ship it without damage. If it didn’t have to go through customs and take so long to be replaced I would have sent it back for a replacement that was undamaged. All of this said, it’s a good tank. Large enough for bigger castings to fit. Built strong enough to survive relatively well despite being battered during shipping. If you can get one without the damage from inadequate packaging then it’s 5 stars.

Damaged on arrival.
Product was damaged and unusable upon arrival. The damage made it so the internal container could not be removed. Also could not use wheels because of the damage. Never actually got to use the pot because turning it on with the damage would have been unsafe. I can’t for certain say if the damage was already there or happened during shipping. It could be either.
