Best glasses ever. Better than Zalto or Spiegelau. First they are beautiful. Second they are super elegant and light. This leads to a thinner lip for the wine to pour as you drink. These are so nice, for most restaurants. Now I bring my own glassware, these glasses!

Truly stunning glasswork. Even having seen dozens of online pics and reviews I wasn’t prepared for how unique and stunning these glasses were in person. Such a radical departure from everything else on the market and stunning to behold. I’m familiar with Kurt Zalto’s former work and I was skeptical that the tasting characteristics would compare to the Denk’Art line or live up to the visual design of the glasses. Based on first impressions these fall into the old adage that a product “doesn’t get better than this, only different”. These Josephinenhütte glasses have this way of magnifying a wine in such a way that can exhaust an excellent wine, but gives a lower quality wine no place to hide. I’m not sure if it’s the shape of the wall taper or the aerating design, but it definitely exaggerates whatever wine you’re drinking. Perhaps to the point where I wouldn’t use this for everyday wines, since you’re suddenly more aware of any slight flaw. But with a well-made wine, no glass I’ve tried can compare to the brutal honesty of these. Truly excellent. Admin note, these glasses shipped and arrived all within 24 hours with no issues. Very impressed with the speed and quality of service.

Saw some good reviews on these glasses and finally decided to pull the trigger to purchase --- they are expensive (especially knowing in Europe they are about half the price), BUT AREN'T THEY AMAZING! They feel absolutely great in hand and hold & swirl wine perfectly. And they are light as feathers. If you can handle delicate glasses, this is a must have.

Initially very skeptical, but I decided to buy from this glass company since he's the originator. The glasses lived up to the hype and we've greatly enjoyed the wine we've drank from them. Just be very gentle

While i do love the way the glass feels when held, the rim of one of them has a jagged imperfection. For the price we paid, I expected a smooth edge. My husband did not want to bother with a return so we kept them, but the rating was not a 5-star because of that one issue

This set of two wine glasses was my son's Christmas gift . He is a wine snob and requested these. We thought they were quite expensive for the pair, but turns out, they are very fine crystal and beautiful too. They came very well packaged...no breaking and he took back to California in the same package.

In my opinion, if you really enjoy wine, then you need to own these wine glasses. I purchased both the #3 red and #2 universal. Both are exceptional. However, if you typically consume more red vs other types of wine, I’d clearly recommend purchasing the #3 red wine glasses. If however you occasionally or frequently indulge in both red and white I would recommend selecting the #2 universal glasses. I also own the Gabriel Glass universal standard art wine glasses. They too are excellent and definitely not as fragile. But if you truly enjoy wine, I give the edge to the Josephine wine glasses over the Gabriel Glas.

Me ha llegado una copa rota por la base. Son muy bonitas y muy agradables, pero se deben romper por la base porque por donde se cogen es muy fino (es elegante y bonito) pero frágil

Arrived on time and well-packed. I tried them with a good Australian Shiraz in comparison with my favourite John Jenkins glasses, and the aroma is more focussed, and on the palate the tannins are softer lending a shade more openness & complexity. The difference is a matter of degrees and I will probably stay with my Jenkins glasses for most whites but expect these to be my default choice for reds and look forward to seeing what they do for my best mature Bordeaux. They are very light and aesthetically pleasing, but great care needs to be exercised when washing & drying, especially in respect of the conical bottom of the bowl, which is likely to have a residue of washing-up water. I see there have been reports of breakages on arrival and would suggest to Amazon that their outer packaging be clearly marked FRAGILE, as they are so delicate that dropping the box could be more than the glasses will withstand. Overall 4.75*
