Plastic parts in a 1000$ shower
There is a plastic part in the rail which failed within couple of months. There is no warranty support for this or an replacement part. Makes your shower useless

Great design, poor design
I so wanted to love this shower system but being a DIYer and having the install this left me with very mixed feelings. The installation videos and instructions are of little help. The hot water valve leaks. The unit sits too far from the tile exposing the ugly valve threads. Aside from that, its a handsome, sturdy and highly functional shower system. If you spend so much time getting your shower (tile, trim etc) up to par then have to crown the whole job with this unit, I would look elsewhere.

Beautiful Shower
I installed this myself and it took a few hours to remove the old Grohe and install this beautiful piece of art. It's very relaxing standing under the rain shower head. I would recommend this to family and friends.
