Clever design. Simple. Comfortable. Efficient.
***Look for update at the end** Oh yeah....this is a good one. I like to read. A lot. I have this Angry Bird pillow I prop my Kindle HDX up on as I read. Well, with the magnetic cover on the tablet, it was always snapping shut and falling off! Or just shifting and slipping constantly. I needed a good tablet caddy. After a thorough search, I purchased this Lap Pro. It's perfect. Not only does it have a secure slot to hold the tablet but also has a zippered, two sided compartment on the inside. The tablet fits in there along with a charger and cable. If your going on a long ride, pack it, grab it by the convenient handle and your off on your trip. It also makes a great neck pillow in a car. I've seen some negative reviews on this thing and I just cant imagine why!? This is a really great item. No clunky plastic struts or complicated parts. As a matter of fact, it's simple, comfortable (and very adequate function) is why I like it so much. Very comfortable. Very clever design. ***UPDATE Oct.1*** Not trying to be a know-it-all or anything, but I read where someone said that their tablet sits too low in the groove of the pillow? Well, I found that the groove on the other side is more shallow. For fully reclined position, this side works better for laying down. The deeper groove in the front is best for sitting up, or on a table or your lap....jus' sayin. I hope this helps somebody.

Perfect lap pillow for iPads and Kindles
Six years later and I still use this every day as an iPad pillow. My husband also bought the same one after seeing how nice mine was. Works great as a prop to hold your iPad or phone when you are mindlessly surfing the internet. I also use this to hold my Kindle during long reading sessions. It's much nicer and more comfortable than reading without. Bonus, I didn't even know for the longest time that it has a zipper pocket inside to store things which is great to use when traveling! My only compliant is that after a few years the stuffing had deflated a lot so I had to add new stuffing to keep it plump.

Perfect, Perfect, Perfect! (Updated...)
Update 12/14/2019 I still like this lap stand when reading or watching a movie but have a complaint when using it to use an app, like Crossword or WordSwipe. The "handle," which doubles as a stand for my tablet, is too thick and covers the bottom of the screen. I can't use the bottom row of letters unless I lift the tablet up a little. I haven't found a remedy yet. Good but still packing in some areas. (I bought the mini version of this pillow for my daughter to use with her phone and she loves it.) I reluctantly ordered this because I was finding it hard to get my tablet to stay where I wanted it to be. I'd tried stacking pillows, blankets, towels, etc., but the result was always failure. Plus, at 67, my inherited arthritis in my hands & fingers made holding even the almost weightless PaperWhite uncomfortable. When this arrived, I was surprised at how light it was, how easily my Lenovo table adjusted and using my Paperwhite was effortless. My Lenovo, Paperwhite, reading glasses & charging accessories fit easily inside the zipper pouch, ready for travel. The handle/tablet stand works so well, it still makes me smile. For me, this is perfect in every way.

Very lightweight tablet holder.
This is a very lightweight pillow-like tablet holder. It is very different than what you think it is by picture. I thought it was like one big bean bag type thing that tablet sits in. The tablet sits in a pocket, sort of, with a padded bar in front of it to hold tablet in place. My fire hd10 with a case on it fits in this perfectly. But the whole thing needs something heavier on the bottom possibly to make it feel more stable. Maybe some bean bag type matterials, just in the bottom, would anchor the lightweight tablet stand? I think I will keep it. Just need to get used to it. It has two pockets on bottom so you can store stuff in there like screen wipes, etc. Individual pockets don't close up even though they are separate from each other, otherwise some beans would be a good thing to put in there to anchor it. Even though each pocket Is separate they are not separate from each other with a zipper. Just one zipper. Very flimsy material holds tablet in place between pillow and bar. I worry that that material will eventually come loose or tear. Just need to get used to it. Not very many tablet stands that hold a fire hd10 with a case on it. Once tablet is in place and i gently shake it, back and forth or side to side, it seems to stay in place. So that's good. Only time will tell if this was worth the money or not.

Great product, worth considering as you shop for similar
The Lap Pro is a really great product. I own another similar product and it is also good, but one key reason I use the Lap Pro the most is because I can comfortably prop it on my stomach or chest when reading in bed. The soft padding provided by the bean bag makes it ideal for reading in bed. It also works well as a lap pillow, but I primarily use it for reading in bed. I have a more recent version of the product so it's much more firm than the early versions and you may not be able to angle it as easily as the previous version. I can place it in the handle easily enough and it stays put, there just isn't much give if you prefer to lay it at more of an angle. I've experimented by rolling the bean bag slightly and had some success with it, however it's not as balanced as when the handle is used to stabilize it on the bed or your lap. This isn't really a negative for me, but since it's advertised as 0-89 degree angle, I felt it worth mentioning your personal experiences angling it may not be as easy as you think from reading the product description. Overall, it's a well built and high quality product. Support is very good and if you have a problem, they'll bend over backwards to make it right for you.

So far so good after giving to my wife. She seems to like it and uses it constantly. However do I think the price is worth it after feeling how light it is... that’s pending. I’ll see it it holds up to regular use and let you know.

I bought this little pillow for my teenage granddaughter who is always in her room on her computer, iPhone, or artist tablet. She has found it a lot easier on her neck and she doesn’t get so tired so quickly. She has almost convinced me to get one for myself too.
