Cleaning Kit with 3.78L No-Rinse Coil Cleaner, Sprayer, Odor Treat...

The kit provides everything that you need to clean your split unit air conditioner. The accompanying YouTube video is excellent and will help you do it right. (The disassembly/reassembly instructions are generic, so you may want to check for a specific video from the manufacturer of your unit.) I definitely recommend this kit.

Worked good. A little snug trying to fit over the evaporator but managed without breaking anything or ripping anything. Great tools to clean up my evaporator.

Worked great for me. Local hvac co wants $500 these days to do a deep clean. Cleaned all 3 units in my house for the price of the kit. The sprayer didn’t leak in the slightest and if you put the bag on the correct direction (labeled inside and outside) there is no way for it to slip off, there are small wings that slide behind the air handler. Only small complaint is I’m not a fan of the scent in the included cleaner, luckily it dissipates after an hour or so.

Our mini split had a musty odor and, after reading about this problem online, I wasn’t sure if we could get rid of it. This kit was like wrestling an octopus to get on, so I recommend two people, but IT WORKED. We had the original installers out after we traced the odor to the mini split, the company found the source of moisture and fixed it, We let it dry out then tried alcohol & vinegar to eliminate the musty smell - it didn’t work. After research, I bought this kit and followed the instructions. You MUST clean the mini split thoroughly which takes a great deal of time and wiping. It took most of an afternoon from start to finish but the odor is gone and has been gone for many months. We run the mini split every day in our sun room. I have plenty of cleaner left to re-clean it if necessary but we are hoping it is never necessary.

Haven't cleaned our 2 mini split units in 5 years, what a mistake. This kit did the trick and what a difference in the air. I won't tell you it's easy because it is a lot of work taking the unit apart to clean. But the cover kept all the gunk off the wall. I like the fact it's not a throw away item. I cleaned it up and put it away. I recommend this product

Glad I brought this kit. Had everything I needed but didn't know I needed.

The sprayer does not work well at all. I pump it up several times and it just comes out as a trickle - no pressure at all. Not worth the money at all

This stuff is amazing. I spent over an hour using it to clean every inch of my Fujitsu splits! It’s amazing. No mess at all! The gunk that came out was so nasty! So glad I got this stuff! A+

In the box, you have everything to do a perfect job cleaning your air conditioning dock. All the equipment, the cover especially, are of great quality. Before this, I bought à cheap plastic / clover that went directly in the bin ! Don't waste your time and money, buy this kit instead. I should have taken a photo of the waste water. A lot of debris and now the internal coils are almost shining. The only additional step I had to do was connect a shop vac to the exterior drain because it was clogged (my fault waited too long to clean the unit). You can find videos for this product on YouTube. Additional videos for clogged drains are available. I almost felt like a professional 😉 I strongly recommend this kit. Instructions clear and easy to use. And you have enough cleaning liquid for more than one treatment. So economical in the long run.

Worked perfectly! I thought my unit was dying. It was barely worth turning on last summer. It's as good as new now. Very impressed with the quality of the main cover especially. It's very heavy duty and completely reusable. The elastic is super strong and I had no leaks around mine. The short video they provide is pretty basic but gives you the general idea. I did vacuum mine with a shopvac thoroughly before using the fluid, which I dont think they mention. I had no idea how crusty the inside of that thing could be. I've always kept the filters clean but the fan wasn't even a fan anymore. It was a big rotating log of grease and dust and was moving almost no air. The vacuum wouldn't do the whole job. The green fluid cleaned it nicely. Rinsed. Let it dry overnight, reassemble. I'll be doing this every spring now.

Used to clean our 4 mini splits versus having someone come in (costly, gotta wait for availability, etc). How hard could it be? Actually kit made it pretty easy ... Not flawless and instructions weren't very detailed (hence 4*) but worked really well. The shroud worked great ... IMHO better than just a plastic and seems hardy so will get years of use. Take their advice and measure ... Mine were 38+" units and it barely fit ... One issue depending on your install is the end support being able to fit flush on unit ... 2 of mine were right to wall so no room to slide behind tight so had to be careful of over spray. Prefer hose drain versus plastic taper on other bags. Easy and can disassemble for sorage. The cleaner was OK. Seemed to work well but as others have pointed out has an odor too it. But really what chemical won't. I did follow their advice of 50/50 followed by 33/67 and water rinse. Left on for 10-15m for each spraying. I did cheat and used my battery sprayer for the rinse and rinsed well the units (1-1.5 gallon). Jug did all 4 units.. I didn't skimp as no idea when were last cleaned. Hand pump worked well no issues and seems pretty good design. Instructions online weren't detailed enough for me but had watched others on YouTube. Overall a very good kit and the parts should last a few years for cleanings. Just need to buy the cleaner moving forward. Some tips: 1) put towels down ... I found it wasn't perfect in keeping water in. Not that it was running all over but sometimes had some seepage that ran down. 2) take time and be thorough. As we weren't sure when last done, we cleaned cleaned cleaned. Others have asked about blower wheel ... I didn't take out and did in place.ebut took time.... Spray in stream... Rotate a bit ... Spray in stream repeat until full wheel done ... Did that for all sprays and rinse and they cleaned ed right up. 3) get a small but long brissle brush. We used on blower wheel once sprayed to ensure gunk came off. Also used to rub the vent path under blower wheel. 4) Rinse well and focus on blower wheel. Every rinse brought more gunk off ... Kept going until no more gunk. 5) blow dry if you want. Resorted to hair dryer with no heat to blow out coil, vent, etc. worked great... Won't be dry after but will dry quicker.

Ici nous utilisons notre thermopompe autant en climatisation qu'en chauffage . Nous avons également un chien et un chat à la maison . Même avec un entretien rigoureux des filtres il s'accumule beaucoup de saletés dans le rouleau et le coil de l'évaporateur . Tout ça mène à une perte importante de performance . J'ai été surpris de la qualité du kit et également des résultats obtenus . Étant électricien de métier j'ai à l'occasion rencontré des frigoristes qui étaient équipé d'une machine beaucoup plus coûteuse que celle ci pour le même résultat ! Pour un nettoyage où j'ai dû remplir à 2 reprises la pompe due à la saleté de ma tête , il me reste encore du savon pour 6-7 nettoyages sinon plus ! J'ai hésité longtemps avant d'acheter , j'aurais dû le faire avant . Je recommande FORTEMENT ! Merci air pure shop !
