Civil War Exclusive
The Marvel Cinematic Universe gets to shine bright again as its newest movie Captain America Civil War enters theaters as Hasbro brings forward more in its Marvel Legends series of action figures. With their basic lineup of figures released, Marvel Legends brings in its exclusives in this special set which includes Captain America, Iron Man and for the first time, the MCU version of Spider-Man. I bought this for several reasons, mostly Spider-Man but even more importantly Iron Man. Having collected several Captain Americas already I wanted to catch up with a brand-new Iron Man. Having loved the movie, I was going to save up and get this collection.Captain America looks just like he does like the movie, particularly the epic conclusion in his fight against Iron Man. Marvel Legends has released plenty of Captain America figures with this one resembling how he looks like in the previous two movies Avengers Age of Ultron and Civil War, with the obvious difference is the carbon scoring on the chest and helmet, with some of the red muted for a more darker look. Standing at 6.0 inches and with the same great articulation as before. The figure also included an alternate head that can be replaced but as I look at the next figure, I must say that Marvel Legends needs a better face sculpted for Captain America. As this one doesn’t seem to resemble Chris Evans at all, much like the last three times it was done. The figure comes also comes with a carbon scored version of his shield as an accessory.Iron Man is marvelous, looking like he does in the movie in the last minutes of the airport fight as well as the fight against Captain America. Iron Man’s been released many times before, this figure is a reissue of the Mark XLVI used in Civil War only painted up to look battle damaged on its left leg, right shoulder and the left side of the helmet. Also, this figure compared to other versions of Iron Man has two open hands for the figure instead of just one and another closed fist. Obviously to replicate the same awesome Civil War shot of Cap deflecting Tony’s blasts with his shield. Standing at 6.25 inches and with great articulation as before. The figure has an alternate head that can be replaced with a good head sculpt of Tony Stark’s face. This is much appreciated because only Iron Man 2 figures and Age of Ultron had shown Tony Stark’s face before. Long overdue and well worth the purchase. Figure also comes with two sets of energy blasts.Spider-man is great. However, there are some minor issues. First off is the color scheme, the movie shows that Spider-man’s costume is a nice bright red and sky blue. For this figure, the red is dark, almost maroon and the blue is also a dark navy blue. Plus, the costume's webbing pattern in the movie was very slight, this figure has it significantly raised and looking like the previous films versions of the suit. As well as the spider symbols on both front and back looking slightly different. This bothered me a little at first, thinking that this was an earlier prototype in production, but it's still easy to tell apart, particularly the black border on the boots, wrists, chests, and shoulder that is MCUs look. Standing at 5.50 inches and with exceptional articulation around the arms, legs, and torso for those acrobatic web-slinging poses. Only one hand is web-slinging and the other a closed fist for fighting. No alternate hands, heads or accessories.Still, this is a phenomenal collection. Very happy to have this trio in my Marvel Legends collection.

Really Good Marvel Legends 3-Pack
I got lucky and scored this set for only $18.14 with Prime shipping back in December, 2016. That's less than the regular retail price of a single Marvel Legends figure, so that was quite a steal. I only recently got around to cracking it open and messing with the three figures. And long story short, it's well worth the price I paid. All three figures have the same quality, detail and poseability you would expect from Marvel Legends figures, and then some. Captain America includes an unmasked head and his shield. Iron Man has an unhelmeted head plus attachable thruster and repulsor blast effects, very cool. Spider-Man, includes no accessories, but has a bit of added articulation. It's worth mentioning the facial likenesses to the actors on the Steve Rogers and Tony Stark heads are actually quite impressive. They do lack added paint detail that would really bring out the realism, but the sculpts are pretty spot on, in my opinion. If I had one minor issues, it's that the battle damage paint apps on Cap and Iron man, especially on Iron Man feel a little over done to me. But still, overall really good figures and a great 3-pack for the price I paid, they make great additions to a Marvel Legends cinematic universe collection.

My Eleven Year Old Bought These With His Own Money
My eleven year old saved up his birthday money and bought these with his own money, which is A LOT of money for him. He reports that it was worth it, they are very cool, and he and his six year old brother are really enjoying playing with them. He wanted Iron Man's legs to move more. Other than that, he was pleased. It is also hard to switch out Captain America's heads and I often have to do that, so be attentive to that if you have younger kids that might struggle with that. Also there are small pieces so keep away from kids that can choke. You don't want anyone swallowing Iron Man's head! Overall pleased even though they seem incredibly expensive to me, I guess if you love super heroes like my son, it is worth it!

They're not bad
Ok these figures took me by surprise. I only really ordered this 3 pack because it was priced at $18 and I really wanted a Robert Downey Jr head sculpt. Plus those repulser blast effects are really nice, but I actually prefer the battle damaged mark 46 armor and caps uniform to their cleaner Civil War counterparts. The Spidy is ok, nice deep red but these Iron man and Cap figures will be on my main MCU display for a good while.

Nice fugues. The paint is pretty good, these are smaller than a typical Barbie. The heads come off too and are a little small. Made me nervous if our son still putting stuff in his mouth. But it is a good toy expecially for the car rides.

The best action figures I have ever bought
Although these are my new favorite action figures, there are 2 cons. The joints are kind of stiff when you first buy them. I've had them for a few days already, but still. Kinda stiff. And one tiny minor problem with Iron Man is that the battle damaged arms shoulder is kind of lower than the other one making it so it can't revolve the full way. Other than that, I love the figures. Captain America looks beautifully made (except for the unmasked head, that looks nothing like Chris Evans) Iron Man is chiseled fantastically, and don't even get me started on Spider-Man. He's my absolute favorite superhero on the planet, and he looks MARVELous! Hah, marvel-ous. Keep up the good work, Marvel toy makers!

Spider-man is the best part. I drilled a tiny hole through his fist so I could tie thread though it and have him hang above my workstation. The CA helmeted mask is great. Don't think I'll ever use the blonde helmet-less head. TS head is great. But the IM helmet is better. Doubt I'll use either alternate head ever.
