Outperforms my expectations!
This guy has become a must-have on all my camping trips! I use it for cooking, preheating, and boiling water as well. Methanol works best in it vs other alcohols but that's the brilliance of these sorts of stoves! It is tricky to learn how much volume of fuel is needed for X job but with a bit of practice at home(which I highly recommend you do), you'll get a feel for using this. Every trip I've gone, this guy has come in handy a surprising amount of times. Very lightweight too. Seriously, this is my best alcohol stove I own. My only complaint is that when it is starting up it sputters, but does not stop, sometimes if overfilled. But to get around this, simply do not overfill your stove. Even if you do, the heat output is still very high, just a bit inconsistent until it balances out. *USE THIS WITH A WINDSCREEN JUST LIKE ALL ALCOHOL STOVES* Filling this about 2/3rd with methanol boils a kettle of water in about 10-12 minutes and leaves about 1/4-1/5 of fuel remaining. In my area, these are still allowed under some burn bans but this will vary by the particular burn ban in effect and location. There are many locations where these guy unfortunately would not be allowed to be used under a burn ban so check before you use it!

Close but no cigar
The design is good but there are a couple of flaws that make this stove move to the back shelf. Firstly the pot stand is to far apart and curved on the inside making it difficult to balance the majority of popular pots on the stove. Secondly, the lid the on the burner is not screw on meaning you cant save your unused fuel. Not recommended.

Easy to carry and use.
Used this in my kitchen to heat my non-induction, 1970s, espresso pot as we have no gas locally. Surprising amount of heat from a small amount of fuel. Burns cleanly with no smoke and heats a six pot coffee maker in minutes. Uses methylated spirits which is one of the cleanest burning fuels around. As with all naked flame appliances never leave it unattended and ensure there is a good air supply to the room. otherwise this is a very useful item for picnics, power cuts or warming dishes at the table; always use a stand for the dishes, as a safety precaution, as this little stove has a narrow footprint.
