Had this tv for a while. Great colour good value for money. Will be buying another one for my kitchen but slightly bigger size . Good weight and sturdy tv. Controller is great too. I didn’t slot of research and this came out on top for budget and quality.

After a long period of researching all of the various options in order to replace an 15 year old Sony TV, I bought this TV on Amazon Prime Day and it has surpassed all expectations since it arrived a week ago. The picture quality is sublime, and the smart features have been easy to navigate through and super responsive. The minimalist smart controller is intuitive, but I can see why some people might get frustrated by the lack of number. Luckily, this TV came with a standard Samsung controller as well. It has a sleek design and with virtually all screen and a very flat back and feels well built, but the sleek design means that, with little space for speakers, the sound is compromised. No one should be surprised that sub-£500 TVs don't have amazing sound systems - I had already expected this through reading various reviews. I've ordered a Polk React soundbar, which will hopefully transform the sound as well. In summary, don't be put off by the mixed reviews. This is a brand new product for and I recommend checking out reviews on Kitele and Rtings of the TV for honest reviews. I did nearly opt for an LG equivalent, but at this price range, you won't find many TVs that deliver an all-round package than this.

I wanted a good quality TV at a reasonable cost which was not too heavy so my wife and I could easily carry it up to our attic. This 50 in TV at £418 does the job. It has a great picture. After all the bad reviews about the sound quality I was pleased to find the sound was to my ears very good. I can also listen to it via Apple AirPods. The supplied remote is ok but a little fiddly. I use the TV with SKY Q which works fine except some of the features such as volume control do not work with SKY remote and so for example the Samsung remote must used for volume control.

I like everything about this T.V . The picture quality is great . It has many apps . The T.v responds well to the remote . It has smart features and it is easy to use . It connects well to the internet and to external devices like speakers . It has various settings which is great . So far so good with this samasung 55 inch smart t.V . I would recommend

Received the item via ArrowXL delivery service who were excellent, I had a message of estimated arrival, a call before the item was getting close to delivery and they brought it and placed the box were I wanted can't fault it at all. For the item itself it came with no dead pixels or black smudges on the screen and in perfect condition. I'm impressed with the screen quality and sound, I expected it to be worse for the price if I'm honest. My only small gripe is that the UI is a bit laggy I have another Samsung smart TV I bought a few years ago and it's the same issue.

Brilliant picture and very slim. Not too heavy for the wall and the rechargeable remote is perfect. It looks very modern and is very easy to use. Always buy Samsung tvs bought this to replace a 12 year old Samsung due to wanting better quality picture. Samsung billed to last, would definitely recommend

Unfortunately, one major let-down of the BU8000 is its software. The TV's operating system feels sluggish and tends to slow down significantly after just a few weeks of use. This sluggishness is exacerbated by the presence of annoying ads on the home screen, which can be quite distracting and disrupt the overall user experience. Another issue I encountered with this TV is occasional hang-ups and unresponsiveness, where the TV would freeze for a few minutes or fail to respond to remote commands. These glitches can be frustrating and disrupt your viewing or streaming sessions. Regarding audio, the built-in speakers are decent, but they lack the depth and richness that many enthusiasts crave. I would highly recommend investing in a soundbar or external audio system to truly enhance your audio experience. While the speakers get the job done, they don't quite match the exceptional visual quality of the screen. On a positive note, the inclusion of a solar remote is a thoughtful addition. It allows you to charge the remote using solar power, reducing the need for frequent battery changes. In summary, the Samsung 55 Inch BU8000 UHD Crystal 4K Smart TV offers an exceptional screen quality and a suitable size for immersive viewing. The pricing is competitive, and the connectivity options are plentiful. The processing capabilities are commendable, as it can enhance the fluidity of lower frame rate content. However, it is let down by the subpar software performance, sluggishness, intrusive ads, and occasional hang-ups. Along with that, there is MAJOR backlight bleed on black screens. While the built-in speakers are decent, investing in a soundbar is recommended for a more immersive audio experience.

The TV AU8000 is one of the best, affordable, very high quality of Samsung’s TV. Colors are amazing, it has netflix, prime and shahid on the remote control. Very easy to use and you can adjust the picture and sound as you wish.

The screen started turning off by itself and on when watching , I have just used for one year and the Samsung service team insisted that I pay USD 200 ( 750 dirhams) to have the motherboard fixed. Even after I was willing to pay the repair fees they cannot give a warranty on the new motherboard, I have used Panasonic TV for over 12 yrs without any issues. My other 2 friends have faced same issues with Samsung TVs and I regret spending $800 on this particular product. I definitely DONT RECOMMEND IT.

Bought it to replace an older model which had a sudden death. Gorgeous beautiful colors, lots of apps, lots of connections, and an extra remote so everything you can ask for but the only downside is its horrible sound. Yes I know I can add a sound bar but I would expect the default TV sound to be of good quality. Thats the reason for 4 stars.
