My family has used these for generations. They are healing, perfect for repairing skin conditions, restoring glow, diminishing scaring and for keeping up with your silk routein (If you have cotton allergies). Tips; Soak in boiling Spring water overnight so you always have them ready, I keep a crystal container of ready soaked cocoons on my bathroom counter at home and on vacation at all times. Put your face wash directly on cocoon and proceed to wash face in a circular motion. Your face will be silky to the touch and smell fantastic. (If you do have skin issues a prebiotic face wash and supplement can help you heal faster). Rince face w warmed Spring water, if you’re prone to dryness let the water dry on face to lock in moisture, if not use a silk towel to pat face dry. A 100% silk pillowcase will do in a pinch. These straight up make my face so soft. I use them as an exfoliator by slightly wetting my face and scrubbing where I have build up. Typically my “hot zones” are my nose, chin, and cheeks next to my nose. I will go from having a lot of texture and bumps from the oil and build up from the day, to a smooth face. Once I have exfoliated with these, I use a cleanser. I know that these are suppose to be clean enough to not have to cleanse but the smell tends to be off-putting(considering this was a silk worm cocoon haha) but other than the smell, this product is fire.

Works pretty great actually. I just dont use them very often because they have an odd smell. And also make my face smell odd. Well, I end up smelling it off and on for an hour or two after use. I cant quite describe it but it isnt quite pleasant either.

This is my third time purchasing these. My previous orders were great, and I was very satisfied. I usually soak them in warm water during my shower and then gently use them as a scrub. They helped remove dead skin and whiteheads, leaving my skin feeling smooth and soft. Since they are natural silk cocoons, I didn’t mind a bit of discoloration or minor imperfections. However, this batch was completely different. Every single piece had visible debris inside. It honestly looked like some kind of bugs or eggs. I immediately threw them away without using them.

it takes a little time for them to soften up after getting them wet.. wish they were larger too. good for spot treatment but a little small to use on the whole face. not bad tho
